I wonder how long that will last. First interview. "Aidan, I understand you have a new Year's Resolution to not say Listen; is this true?" "Listen .................."
Calm down, you types. Mr Hendersonâs New Yearâs resolution, and I swear I havenât just made this up, is...to learn how to send a text message.
May need to complicate the Rules now TC. What happens when no-one gets the answer? How about a limit on how long we get to come up with the correct answer before it is published by the question master? Suggest. If after 72 hours the correct answer has not been given, the person who raised the question must publish the correct answer and raise another question. If no further question has been provided after a further 48 hours, anyone may jump in and raise a question. If at any time there is more than one open question, the first one to receive the correct answer will determine who raises the next question. A yellow card will be ....................
OK, what was the name of a very fast sprinter in the late 1960's, a stone below top class but who quite possibly would have been a champion had the minimum sprint distance been 4-furlongs. The horse always blasted off in front and then tried to hang on as his stamina gave out in the fifth furlong, but still won four races as a juvenile and just one as a 3-year-old, in a total of 16-races. The horse's dad was an Arc winner. Name the horse and its sire. Don't think a clue is necessary but since it's a while ago: Two words for both horses, first words are the same.
That sprinter description matches Conita (needed a downhill track on firm going) but obviously not the answer.

This sprinter was an absolute flyer, but really was an American-style quarterhorse, I would say. His last win, the only one as a 3-y-o, was at the old Kempton Park track's straight, fast, and flat 5f, and he just fell over the line and won by the shortest of margins, after being way ahead at the furlong pole.
Sprinter Sica Dan led for four furlongs in the Temple Stakes before finishing fourth to champion sprinter Song. Sire Sica Boy
