The one thing that new signings will affect is that they push the youngsters back down the pecking order, not a problem if some need more time to develop.
I also think Long had a very good game. Always in a thorn in the oppositions side and you can see how Hull are doing without him. His leap for the second was superb, he just needs to put away a few more.
Yoshida is getting a lot of praise which is uncommon. Perhaps he is more comfortable in a back three/five as perhaps that is more normal in the Netherlands.
To be fair, he's looked pretty solid this season either in a three or alongside Fonte. Only one word for Alderwereild's performance on Saturday though - bloody magnificent. (Okay, two words).
