All the refs have been incompetent today.

Just watched it all again on Sky... Well done Saints.. Mr Moss, just the worst ever, the man should never ever referee a premiership game again. Incompetent, badly judged, unaware of the rules, a complete useless, pick your own noun. How many thousands a year to do something I could do better does this unaware, incompetent fool get?????????? and nothing more than I saw live..

I never used to like Long pre-Saints, although in all honesty can't remember why. But now I do, he puts in so much effort and never bitches.

Question is, exactly how fouled does he need to be before being awarded a penalty? Seem him booted up in the air and punched in the head this season, and at least a couple of other dead cert penalties not given. Is it because he doesnt complain or maybe he gives off an unlikeable vibe that refs object to?

Please Long and Tadic on the pitch going forwards, Mane as backup from the bench.

I'd like to see the same system again for Palace. Gardos in for Fonte. I'm going to be controversial and say that's the only change I'd make. I liked the Reed-Ward-Prowse-Davis combination as they keep it simple and are all good at passing the ball early to feet. Ward-Prowse is a brilliant set piece taker and Reed was my man of the match. Davis is a nailed on starter. Wanyama and Schneiderlin on the bench for me.

Didn't Gardos get a three match ban, straight red? If so not available.

Tadic and Mane can't get in the side if we stick with a 3-5-2. Long had more freedom today playing at striker. Pelle also looked better with Long supporting him.

Long has a tendency to go down in such a way that it looks like he's embellishing, even when he isn't; arms and legs go everywhere. This one, though, Moss simply mistook Long for the football, judging by the corner award...understandable confusion that.
