What a great result this is and keeping a clean sheet without Vic and Morgan! Was not expecting this when I woke up.

Only disappointment? Didn't use the third sub. More teenagers! All the teenagers, dammit!

Took so well to this shape that I wonder whether we might see it again, even when we're back to full strength. Very composed performance given the run we were on.

For no particular reason, I think Saints will win tomorrow. Earlier in the season, we were winning some games by the odd goal. Recently we have been losing games by the odd goal, and gifting the opposition points with errors. So every team has a blip. And since we have a few absentees, the bunker mentality may kick in. 2-1 Saints !

I hate smart-asses, but I`m sure you`ll forgive me on this occasion<whistle>

That is a great, great win. Many congratulations and hats off to Ronald, his staff and the team. Just what we needed. Harry Reed really does look a good prospect.

Reed my man of the match. 15 tackles and 88% passing competition. Brilliant.

Reed made 15 tackles, Everton as a team made 13. That might well be a record.

All of a sudden quite a selection dilemma for Ron!

Perfect tactics from Koeman, players were very good. Everton hopeless. Excellent day all round!

I was calling for Reed to come on Arsenal. Based on what I just saw, he should have come on when Cork went off. He was unbelievable today.

The MOTD running order: QPR v WBA, Man City v Crystal Palace, Aston Villa v Man Utd, Southampton v Everton, Tottenham v Burnley, West Ham v Leicester, Hull v Swansea

Fair enough.
