Official announcement of the appointment of Mike Ashley's protege, Derek Llambias, as CEO.

Rangers FC - Appointment of Chief Executive Officer (RNS Number : 2514A) 19 December 2014

Mike Ashley saying : 'Up Yours, SFA !'.

He may simply be testing their resolve prior to buyin shares in an internal issue.

Imo he may well be tying up loose ends on contracts to make them liquidation proof. He then cocoons RR till a new entity emerges, which would have to use the badges and crests and name to be credible to fans.

SFA and Ashley shareholding, 24/12/2014 : Rangers FC - Club Statement

The Board of Rangers Football Club are very disappointed with the SFA's decision and we will now consider all our options.

The SFA has 'unanimously' rejected Rangers' request to let Mike Ashley increase his shareholding to 29.9%.

Official and per SSN just now, Lewis Macleod will be at Brentford until summer 2018.

Rangers FC - Club Statement

Rangers Football Club can today confirm Lewis Macleod will sign for Brentford for an undisclosed fee.

This is subject to International clearance being received when the transfer window opens on 3 January 2015.

People are blaming non-attenders for the crisis at the club? Really?

I think Larry was just posting his personal opinion Gus. Surely even the Easdales and friends would not be as stupid as to blame the fans for selling our best player.

My disgraceful comment was about the sale of the player not the boycott. It's the final straw as far as I'm concerned. The only tiny iota of hope that might have come out of the fiasco our cub has become was (for me) bringing through the young players. They couldn't even do that. McCoist populated his teams with aging dross and mediocre foreign players. I had to laugh when Kenny McDowell commented on the sale of McLeod saying it would give all the other great youngsters a shot. Maybe we can replace Lewis with Charlie Telfer?:emoticon-0121-angry

Despite all this Happy New Year to everyone on here.<cheers>

By **** Larry you really need a big slice of time to get your head out your arse cake. How the **** do you
come to the conclusion that the Rangers fans are in anyway responsible for the sale of the clubs best playing asset at a bargain basement price?

The fans(including myself) are staying away because they refuse to bankroll a board who are not fit for ourpose. Selling one of the brightest talents in Scottish football on the first day of the transfer window for buttons is testament to the fact the ****s haven't got a clue.

They are now at desperation stages and unless Dave King and/or Dougie Park manage to gain control of the club we are only going the one way.

Out the game.

To me, that scenario is preferable to giving the shysters in charge at Ibrox one single penny more.

This state of the club Is purely down to the total mismanagement it has been under for the last ten years (at least) and has nothing to do with the fans who have had to resort to the only power they wield.

The power to withhold their cash.

Point completely missed ^^^^^^

Dave King didn't instigate boycotts. The revolving door of ****s lining their own pockets whilst making an arse of the club and it's fans are the reasons Ibrox is empty.
