So would you stop supporting Spurs if they indeed buy your club?

I would. I'd still follow them and probably go every now and then but if we started spending silly money and writing huge losses off then it would feel like a different club to me.

I'd go to Brentford games instead because I'm a gloryhunter :p

I'd be against it. The money has already waned my interest in football somewhat over the last decade. I wouldn't stop supporting Spurs but i'd be supporting with much less interest.

I'd be against it, I've slated £ity, £helsea and all others similar for buying their success so it'd be hypocritical of me to suddenly say "oh yay!" to a money rich owner taking over us.

I feel exactly the same. And for a later question, I would stop following Spurs as it wouldn't be Spurs any more. Moreover, being taken over in this manner is bad enough, but if it's Qatar it makes it even worse for all the reasons we know of surrounding the World Cup bid, treatment of the workers, human rights record etc etc.

So a bunch of slave owning Muslims from some god forsaken desert are looking at buying a club with very strong jewish links?

Bullshit!

Perhaps the mafia owns Man United.Who knows?
But this is 2014 and, unfortunately, big money speaks.Eh?Chelsea,United,City? Are you unhappy about that? Of course not.Your fans want trophies.I bet they ain't complaining.......are they?

Well I am unhappy about these teams being in a false position because of massive injection of funds. I think it unlikely that either team would have been above us in recent years (thinking of the Modric / Bale teams) without that money, hence it should have been us in the CL and we have therefore been unfairly done out of our rightful placing. Of course it is said that it's just sour grapes since they finished above us, but why shouldn't we be upset about other teams getting an unfair advantage? Having said that, I am not going to be hypocritical enough to say what is wrong for them is right for us. So some fans would be complaining if it happened - maybe some longer term fans - perhaps the plastic ones we will consequently inherit would be very happy!

This is how I feel too.

Money has made football a lot predictable and fun recently. Other than a few position, the PL table at the end of the season pretty much matches how much each club spends.

You're saying it wouldn't feel hollow thrashing us every time with some prince's dream team?
