Tbh I'd say sell him for £8m. That's good money even these days. Especially for a goalkeeper. When you think how much the Binners were squealing about their top striker having an asking price of around that.

Ruddy's form hasn't been great, but he's still a good 'keeper on his day - I'd wish him good luck at Liverpool because it would probably be his best shot at getting into the England squad again just as he's hitting his prime. And he's obviously a patriotic guy unlike many.

I think Rudd is good enough for this league at least.

I would take the money now for JR and promote Rudd. He deserves his chance and JR arguably has shown his best.

Have you seen Rudd play alot.

Much like putting in a rookie (excuse the American term) manager, its an unnecessary risk in such a crucial season.

A lot of experience?

On loan to PNE. Sorry but that is nonsense.
He may be a good keeper and maybe good enough now, but he remains an unnecessary risk to add to the existing manager.

I only see him play in our "cup runs" have to agree with you Rob .:bandit:
(That one was on purpose).

Not sure how much we'll be able to do if he wants to go.

I like Rudd. Coming up to 24, 6'3", local lad. Could be much worse if Ruddy does leave.

Also, 60 games in this league, plus a couple in the Premier IS quite a bit of experience, isn't it? I know you like to take the opposite view in everything just for the 'fun' of it, but I just don't see that as nonsense.

I thought he played in league 1.

Yes, he did, I was wrong.

I wasn't saying that I'd swap him willingly, just that we may have no choice. What then?
