I'd put it all into Ings, maybe Austin - for English strikers that are feasible, anyway. Doubts still over Austin's lifestyle for me, though.

Just got similar tastes in players, it seems.
 
Kane is an incredibly average player at best who just happens to be experiencing the form of his life atm.

Three years from now, he'll be struggling to reach double figures in the Championship IMHO.
 
I hope we look at signing Pione Sisto, he can play on the wing or behind the striker and he's only 19. The owner of his club, FC Midtjylland has stated he would refuse any offer below £5m for him but their fans (3 I've seen commenting on a forum) don't think it'll take much more than that and are worried he will be gone in January. If we spent £12m or so on Mane then £8-10m for Sisto, in my opinion, would be a worthwhile investment.

Of course, we won't sign him, but I can dream, right?
 
Didnt realise Mccarthy was particularly close to the first team. I think a young Cb would be good as well. Yoshida still looks shakey to me and Fonte will start to decline in the next few years. Also no guarentee that Toby will stay next season.

I'd also look for a CB. There's a clause in Toby's contract that means Atletico can effectively buy us out of our agreed fee if a 'bigger' club comes knocking and based on his performances so far this season, I wouldn't be surprised to see a bid come in.

That leaves us with a starting CB pair next season of Maya Yoshida and a 31-year-old Jose Fonte - not exactly awe-inspiring.
 
Has everyone forgotten Florin Gardos? I imagine he'll play this evening, so hopefully he'll have a great game.

Not sure ... Turnbull & Stepehns are highly thought of doing very well at Swindon.

Could see one of them coming back in January to cover for Yoshida.
