What struck me about the result was this; at first I was thinking, "we'll be OK once we get over this injury crisis". But then I realised that apart from Schneiderlin, this was our full strength team.

So, a bit worrying.

We seem to have had all our luck in the Sunderland game and are getting payback now.

The bottom line though is that, when we were winning, we were not as good as we thought we were; and now we are losing, we are not as bad as we think we are!

But Morgan plays a huge part in the team. And he's our best player.

If only most Saints fans had realized his earlier. Enjoy the good times; in fact milk them for all they're worth. Be level headed in the tougher times.

It was always clear that we weren't slaughtering every team, so there is always a chance you will lose 1-0 if you win 1-0. We are a good side...I would say better than over half of the league, so we can expect to finish well as I am sure we will start winning again soon. Like last year, if you have points on the board, you can have a mixture of wins, draws and losses without dramatically affecting your final position, because the teams below us will not win every game.

Absolutely. As long as we don't finish in the bottom 3, which we should just about be able to manage (crosses fingers and toes),there are only 2 teams I desperately hope we finish above. I probably don't need to say who they are...

These defeats might've come at the right time with the January transfer window round the corner. Koeman now has a case to strengthen if the board are as serious about Europe as they say they are.

Even so, we surely aren't that much of a one-man team. Of course, the other injury is Cork who would (hopefully!) have got some game time.

Given that they are both out I am surprised that Reed hasn't got some game time.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just thought I would share my frustration with this result <steam>
