I was there today and I have to say that the City fans were outstanding, gallows humour at its very best, lots of them were very drunk but pretty well behaved in the face of all that is being thrown at them right now
I don't get to many games now but the wrongs I witnessed today were....
The White kit - WTF
Kim - could have taken on their defenders on the flank so many times but all he did was cut inside to use his left peg (badly) maybe should have been switched with Noone if he had to play at all
Connolly - not in the position he was bought for - and not in the position he was selected for today so between him and Kim their left sided players had a field day
Marshall - worse game he has had for us in my opinion , could have saved at their forwards feet for the 2nd or 3rd goal but flapped at it instead and sent it to their winger to tap across the box for a goal (Can be forgiven this one just for his heroics in virtually every game this season though)
KJ - Never fit enough for this level of football, was doubled up huffing and puffing for most of the game and slow going forward and back
ALF- see above but fatter and gave free kicks far too often for taking defenders out instead of trying to win the ball
Gunnar -below average - needs to be rested for a couple of months
Whitts - had two corners from the right side but shot for goal both times(yes tried curling them in) when we had four 6.2+ players in the box , the rest of his game was pretty average
Brayford - average but determined enough
And the few good points
Noone - bust a gut for a lost cause, showed lots of determination and some great solo runs
Turner and Morrison - I think they and Marshy can be a great base to start from when (if) the rebuilding starts in January
Oops how could I leave him out ...KADEEM HARRIS - got us on our feet every time he had the ball , pacy with good control and put them under pressure every time he had the ball, alas ..his crosses went into free space as none of our forwards could keep up
The fans - totally outstanding - apart from the ones who couldn't stand

Unfortunately not. Without Tan the club would fold as nobody else in their right mind would invest the level of finance required to keep the club afloat. Given that Tan's loans are backed by assets of the club thus ruling out Administration, his exit would mean there is nothing left for other creditors which in effect means that liquidation will be the only option.
Unfortunately the club needs Tan more than he needs us.
Just watched the highlights - all 19 minutes of them.
Credit due to Bournemouth for their exceptional pace, passing and finishing.
Debit to City for their atrocious closing down and allowing acres of space ie playing to B'mouth's strength's.
Slade got the formation all wrong for this game.
Needed to play 4-5-1 to attempt to stifle B'mouth in the middle of the park.
ps. Anyone notice that Norwich with a quality no 2 have won 1-0 away and 5-0 at home in his first 2 games?
City have Scott Young, club legend but hopeless as a coach/no 2.

His lack of any tactical variation is really starting to kill my enthusiasm for this season.
At least with Ole (the worst manager we've had in years) there was a surprise waiting for you every match day. His rigid tactics are a ****ing joke, his insistence on using only 4-4-2 a ****ing joke, his after match analysis is a ****ing joke........
To be honest though until we develop into a team capable of keeping the ball the Championship is the best place for us. Watching Swansea go toe to toe with Spurs yesterday showed how far off we are.

Now City are mid table fodder, losing to the likes of Bournemouth, this time in League 1; Bolton, Blackpool Milwall etc all in the bottom reaches.

Thanks Sparkey. I don't think the financial expert from Swansea's post warrants a response except to say that the scenario he describes is not only overly optimistic but wildly inaccurate.
ignore the nincompoop, i think whoops is correct. the creditors have to agree to get their pennies in the pound don't they? tan would never do that. administration isn't always an option, sometimes clubs go bust and cease to exist if an agreement cannot be made.

Look at Portsmouth, they were PL, FA cup winners and went to the absolute end of existence in L2.

I agree with Swamp, I think Tan will hold on putting in as little as possible hoping whichever manager we have in place will find the magic formula before throwing in the towel.
What I will say is (and it feels a long, long way off) if we get promoted with a manager and side that can compete I'm not sure it's given that Tan would immediately cut and run. I think he does want to own a PL side.
