f** me, that's first class beeling right there. How's it bitter and twisted? I'm saying he can give you even more.<doh>

He gave everything you've said in the second half of last season, not only that, he was getting goals, Assists, making key passes, testing the goalkeeper and developing attacking play a 100 times better than he has been for you this season. You're limiting the lad lad by giving him a holding role, he can give you more than he is now, but the position you play him limits what he can bring to the games. He has an attacking threat which was developed last season which Pardew has chosen not to utilise. Nowt to do with being bitter and twisted, it's a personal assessment of a player I've seen over 100 times, a player I've seen develop in multiple roles and positions, a player i've seen overcome flaws in his game.

Get off your beeling high horse and don't hit it either. You are a grade A numpty <laugh>

Not only are you unable to understand the game of football, you also, despite using it regularly and being very good at it, don't understand the word 'beeling'. You're the only person who thinks he is not better than he was, the pundits comment on it every week. Now settle down, stop getting your knickers in a twist and accept we've done you in a massive way with Colback. At least the majority of your lads let their frustrations be known on the day he left. You have just supressed yours and they seep out through bitter little uneducated posts.

a lot of sunderland fans were saying he was sideways and backwards on the passing front and not bothered about him leaving,iv been surprised at how good he is footballing wise . Still a knob though the 3-0 pics unforgivable

~cough~

Guy Mowbray, speaking on MOTD2 Extra 07/12/14

I was really taken by Jack Colback (against Chelsea). When he was at Sunderland I always used to think 'neat and tidy but what does he do?' ....I think it sometimes happens with players that when they come through the ranks they are forever the little boy. They are always doffing their cap to the seniors. Whereas (at Newcastle) he's got the move to a club who wanted him and he's a senior player - and he is playing like one now.

John Hartson, speaking on MOTD2 Extra 07/12/14

I agree as well. I thought Jack Colback was excellent, in particular that he kept Fabregas quiet all afternoon.

Mark Chapman, speaking on MOTD2 Extra 07/12/14

Just on Jack Colback....Guy's point is interesting in relation to players who come through the ranks at one club and then get a move to another and become a man.

just thought i'd throw those out there <whistle>

Oh dear oh dear. Why don't you chill out marra? You've got big problems with people of different opinions. Grow up marra. I'm not bitter, but you're clearly bitter that I'm not Bitter. Something wrong with saying that one of my ex players can contribute in other areas? If it was coming from a fan of any other club you'd have more of an open mind and you know it.

I'll repeat, I think Colback can contribute both Defensively and Offensively as I've seen it. Sorry if you don't like that opinion but there you go. Cryin bairn <doh>

<laugh> Still clutching. Every killer pass he threads and tackle he makes is like a dagger isn't it fella. Just keep taking he meds, you'll be fine.

Can I be a calming influence here and say that I think Sunderland didn't need another defensive minded midfielder and that's what Colback was with them. They are lacking in creative midfielders and probably hoped to replace him with one. Colback came to the fore with us when Tiote was out injured and it was doing the simple things well allowing us to counter attack quickly that really struck me as his value to the team. However what was interesting was how with Tiote back Colback was much more influential further forward on Saturday.
It obviously takes a forward-thinking manager to spot that he has this in him rather than one who shxxts on dressing room floors.

<laugh> I was about to say "**** off interfering, this is funny" till I got your last sentence

You beelin again Bri?
The ginger pirlo could end up being one of the signings of the season....

I'm not beeling fella, I'm on here saying he should make the next England Squad. It's your little chum who's stamping his feet like a bairn declaring me bitter and twisted like I'm in some kind of huff. Making a right tit of himself. He's got the wrong end of the stick well and truly, all because he desperate for conflict. Not a full shilling is he? <laugh>

Have you missed a prescription or something?

You have clearly. I'm glad he's doing well, I think he should make the next England Squad, I think he can bring attacking input if it was asked of him. You think that makes me bitter <doh><laugh> Get yourself to a shrink fella, you're backwards <ok>
