Top 4 only matters at the end of a season. If you get confused by "top 4" just think of it as a nickname for the teams that are in the Champions League![]()

Monk plans to appeal Fabianski red card
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30370681
But television replays suggested the Senegal international handled the ball before being fouled by Fabianski.
"It should have been handball and a free-kick to us," said Monk.
This is a bit of a f**ed up case, because usually you appeal that a decision was wrong, here they are saying another decision should have happened first which should be taken into account. That is a big precedent, but on the other hand Fabianski might not have lost the challenge if the handball hadn't beaten him, so it is kind of relevant.
Another thing is, a handball is only a foul if deliberate, so it's possible the FA will say the handball wasn't a foul and then not overturn the decision. The ball bounces right in front of him, and he's being shoved from behind, so ruling it was "deliberate" is not clear IMO.

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has revealed that Robin van Persie left the Emirates Stadium for Manchester United in 2012 because of money.
Frimpong, who left the Gunners in January after 13 years with the north London outfit, believes Arsenal had the financial resources to keep Van Persie, but Arsenal Wenger’s reluctance to break the club’s strict wage policy ultimately convinced the Dutchman to complete his controversial move to Old Trafford.
"Van Persie is one of the kindest people I know. He spent many years at Arsenal and played great,” Frimpong was quoted as saying by the Daily Star. "You know, the problem of Arsenal is with money.”
The Ghana international, who currently plies his trade with FC Ufa in Russia following a brief spell with Barnsley, added: "Imagine that you are playing for Arsenal, you have a contract for two years.
"The contract ends, and they say: ‘We are ready to offer you a new one.’ And you’re like: ‘Excellent, I want to sign. £20k a week?. And Arsenal say: ‘no, we will give you only 15'.
"Although they could pay 20 they do not want too.
“Therefore, the players leave Arsenal, and this is their problem.”

ARSENAL'S POLICY CHANGE
However, following the big-money arrivals of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez over the past 18 months, Frimpong believes Arsenal have finally changed their policy in order to help attract some of the world’s best players to the Emirates.
"Nowadays to get the big players you have to pay a lot of money, so everything is arranged,” the 22-year-old continued. "If you want to play a star, you have to pay them a lot. Now Arsenal have changed and they signed Sanchez, before they would not have done that."
While Ozil has endured a difficult start to his Arsenal career, Sanchez has been a revelation since completing his move from Barcelona in the summer and has already scored 14 goals for his new employers.
VAN PERSIE IN DECLINE?
Van Persie, meanwhile, has been heavily criticised for his lacklustre performances this season - with some now of the opinion that the 31-year-old is in decline.
United boss Louis van Gaal, though, appears to see the situation differently. The veteran Dutch coach has kept faith in the Netherlands international, who has netted four goals in 12 appearances for the Red Devils this term.
Van Persie’s Arsenal legacy was destroyed following his decision to join Manchester United two years ago; however, he secured his one and only Premier League winners’ medal in his first season at Old Trafford, playing an instrumental role in delivering the title in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final campaign as a manager.

How many did Alnwick score...?
What outcome are we all hoping for in tonight's clash between Holland not quite Mk II and Liverpool's feeder team??
