Sadly, I have to agree. I would love to see our team show the fight and commitment that Newcastle's players showed today. Why we never seem able to produce a performance like that, I just don't know.
Haven't seen it yet, but according to Gary Lineker the Bojan disallowed goal that would have put them 4-0 up was a very poor decision. Didn't matter in the end, but Hughes moans at the best of times, so he'll be fuming about that. Not too happy about it myself!
No ,they wanted to be first out of that place and first to jump in the nearest canal. Arsenal fans have always been suicidal and keep on dreaming of Woolwich!
Watching City vs Everton on MOTD. Just when you thought Mariner couldn't get any more incompetent, he awards City, what will probably be, one of the most ridiculous penalty decisions of the season.
Stoke often have been a thorn in Arsenal's rear and I'm happy that they were pricked again. Looks like Chelsea are doing their fairly normal big lead losing job. Sunderland were unlucky and we could have gone 0-2 up in 10 minutes and yesterday's loss could cause a few flutters at Chelsea. City ought to be a bit careful about their form as it was a penalty which won them the match.
No Chelsea fan I know thought we'd go unbeaten. The reality is we're just a good team (not a great team) playing in a poor league. Madrid/Bayern are streets ahead
Each to their own, but at 3-1 up with less than 5 minutes left, this puts West Ham in 3rd place and that gives me no happiness whatsoever.
Not really sure I understand the red card for Fabianski though, the referee played the advantage for west ham to which sakho hits the post, then he brings it back for the free kick and sends him off, what were Swansea ment to do let him score. Surely you do one or the other.
lol..trying to make sense of a referee decision..its things like this that got you out of a job at Spurs!
Thank you colin and Spurcat BUT, we play them next weekend and I'd rather play them on the back of a defeat for them...sorry but these quirks happen. There are times when all teams want their rivals to do them a favour.
The bizarre thing is that if the goal goes in, then Fabianski probably stays on the pitch. Odd rule. Missed the handball, which he'll definitely get stick for.
