A very satisfying all round performance and it would have been Tuesday night robbery if Rangers had gone away with a point.
Pleased to see Ki get a goal, very much deserved on his performances this season. Also very solid performances from a number of players including Leon and Gylfi.
Nobody could have complained if it had been 4-0. Arry came to defend and I thought they held their shape well but couldnt retain the ball we when they had it. Even if they had tried to play a more attacking game we wouldnt have allowed them to. Rob Green was their saviour. The very fact that their 1st corner was in the last quarter of the game speaks volumes and old Charlie Austin had his quietest game of the season.
Also full marks on Garry's substitutions.
Hope we put as performance in at West Ham

I have checked the table three or four times this evening just to make sure we are back up in the top 6!!!!.............................<laugh>

    'Ary speaks!

"Make no mistake about it, they`re a very good side. "They played some fantastic football tonight. (Wilfried) Bony and (Gylfi) Sigurdsson are fantastic players and caused us problems all night. "I thought we might hang on for a point when the clock was ticking down, but we were done by two late goals.".....................cheers Harry!.......<cheers>

    Biggest gaffe of the night?

Jonjo Shelvey was dropped by Monk for this game after the conceding of a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday, but he was given the last 10 minutes off the bench. He should have scored a third for Swansea when he was played in by Bony, only to foolishly overcomplicate things having rounded Green and pass up a certain goal. Moments like this will not help him regain his place in the team. It stunk of arrogance. - Joe Fish/Sports Mole

    'arrogance' more like too thick!.................<laugh>

    My take -
Fab - world class save in the first half but again not at all confident in the 6 yd box for set pieces.
Jazz - Given how little time he's had in the last two years he was outstanding, by no means perfect but if he plays like that coming in for the odd game we really should be investing heavily in his future. No worries against teams like QPR well worth keeping him ticking over with minutes against better attacking teams.
Bartley - Another game to push Amat and Federico further down the pecking order. Superb
    Ash - Ash <ok>
Taylor - almost dropped us in it in the early minutes but all in all he had a good game :emoticon-0104-surpr
Routledge - tried hard with mixed success but took his goal perfectly
Leon - utter genius, highlight moments were out jumping the 6' + Kranjcar ... twice, and his general play.
Ki - another outstanding game, he was everywhere and competing for everything
Montero - well marked but turned the QPR defence inside out many times - can't defend.
Siggy - work horse and unlucky not to score brought a phenomenal save from Rob Green
Bony - some strange passes but he made the QPR defence quiver. Should have scored 2 + another that brought out the best of Rob Green

    Shelvey - taxi
Carroll - the dynamic of the midfield changed as soon as he replaced the very tired Siggy, slicker passing further up the field lede to some superb play if only for a short time.
Dyer - looked really sharp and his perseverance led to Routs' goal

The introduction of Dyer made a huge difference, Shelvey was a waste of a substitution (looked like he didn't want to be on the pitch or upset his future employer!) Carroll's introduction while entertaining had little effect but gave Siggy a chance to be acknowledged by the crowd.

Another game which looked like drifting by - plenty of endeavour without that final spark. On another day and against another 'keeper it could easily have been five or six nil. Swansea either prevented QPR from any real chance of scoring or QPR had no appetite for the game, take you pick - maybe a mixture of both. Two piece of brilliance brought the goals one from Ki and one from Dyer to set up Routledge.

Feeling a lot happier tonight with the win, the style we played, success of old favourites and emergence/consolidation of other newer faces.

I'm surprised at Redknapp, he knows the Premier League inside out, but the QPR team looked like the sort of team you'd put together to be successful in the Championship but would rebuild for the Prem. Very little intent although they did force one world class save from Fabianski.
No better or worse than Palace, WBA, Newcastle or Sunderland - much better than Burnley and Leicester. I can see them staying up.

I think your hoops are a little too tight and restricting the blood flow to your attic. "Having a go" is a phrase you used. It is a general phrase and can mean anything since it depends on the speakers state of mind, intent, and context. You used it - I asked you to define your meaning. Since you've declined - you are clearly the one who doesn't know what he thinks, means or is trying to say.

If you mean running around like a bunch of headless chickens chasing the ball while we sing Hymns and Arias, shout "Ole" after every pass, and beat you like a rented mule - then good plan!!! Really entertaining. Try it at Loftus Road in a few weeks and we'll stuff you like we did a couple of seasons ago. 5-0 wasn't it.

You have Joey Barton ... who's doing OK for Joey Barton - but we all know he could pop is cork any time and get sent off. You have a geriatric CB in Dunn, who had one of his best games in a long while tonight but is playing way above his pay grade. You have Caulker - a quality CB who deserves so much better than playing along side dross - he may be gone in January. We'd take him but we're all stocked up with better in that position. The S. Korean was ok; may be we'll buy him in January and use him instead of Taylor - after all he'll see what we've done for Ki and want to join a Big Club that has a chance of winning something more than a lottery ticket to saying up.

Your only prayer is for Harry and his boys to figure out how best to stop you lot from shipping goals. Until that tide is stemmed you're f**ed. In the mean time, dress Joe Jordan and let him run around for 60 minutes - he'll provide some bite to your attack unless he takes his teeth out.

QPR is a championship club with a second tier foreign owner with a by and large a championship squad, but lucky enough to have a Prem league manager. Count your blessings and pray he can pull off one of his usual miracles.

Britton's first start was our best game to date ....... coincedence , not a chance . Ki and Siggy were taking more chances , everyone was , because they knew Leon had theyre back . 7 Shots on goal today , should have been more but 7 will do .

I'm pleased to report that the south-west corner gave Shelvey warm applause when he come over to take corners, rather than be apoplectic with rage. <ok>

My first visit to Swansea last night, bloody good side you've got now, far too good for us anyway. No complaints, except how the **** did you let Palace leave with a point?

Isn't the South West corner where all the families and friends of the players sit? :)

Not quite sure how Palace left with a point! Other than the fact that the referee gave them a penalty for nothing..

I'm still wondering myself , the 1st 20 minutes we blew them away but I'm afraid the players thought the game was over when we scored but someone forgot to tell Palace
