Weather you play a match in Jamaica or in Norway ? The aim is to WIN the effing match. To go from 32 attempts on goal in a match played three days earlier to barely a handful is extremly disappointing. Why do the tactics have to change so drastically from match to match ? Surely by adopting an attacking style based around quick swift forward play will reap better rewards than the boring, sideways, backwards movement play we've seen in most of the games. These players get paid huge sums of money each month, they practice almost every day yet why is it they can't string 6 or 7 passes together moving forwardish at least ? Giving the ball away with such esse is not acceptable. I will not mention names but it's a habit with some players (jb) in particular!
To me that is a clear reflection on the coaching methods. It doesn't matter what new players come in, if the playing style don't change NOW then the season will end in dissapointment.
    End of moan !

A lot of it must be down to Harry.

He is so negative, always banging on about how good the opposition are. Other managers hardly mention their opponents!!

Steve Black needs to explain this to Harry.................he is clueless!!

With the +3 hour time difference here I turned the stream off after 65 minutes as defeat was inevitable and I had an early start. Got up saw we went down 2 nil hardly a surprise.

We have to play to our strengths. Sitting back and trying to hit teams on the break away from home is clearly not working. We wont stag up on zero away points.

More worrying is Burnleys form. I predicted 3 points from the 3 games and I'm hoping I had got it wrong but I can see them turning us over

Well, this night has opened my eyes. Stop me if you think you've heard this one before, but success goes hand in glove with the avoidance of panic. Under this charming man we're going nowhere fast, or perhaps straight to the cemetary gates. While bigmouth strikes again heaven knows I'm miserable now. Redknapp, time to realise that joke isn't funny anymore, please, please , please let me get what I want. But I know it's over.

    Sorry, thread title sparked something.

Good title - we HAVE been through hell and high tide.

And we have had no more apologies (although one might be nice).

It's almost as if an alien force takes over the players bodies for away games.....gone is the pace, confidence etc that is shown at home games instead being replaced by bodies that can't pass to a team mate, tackle, run, create space, shoot......

I can see us losing every away game this season, Played 19, Lost 19.....relegation

Id ber in with the Harry ou brigade if thier argument wasnt so flawed.....

basically they moan that harry has nothing to do with training, but then the tactics and formation are all his fault.
Cant be doing both boys, pick your points and make them valid
For me, i think the away form is s**te (and i like HR) I dont know what the answer is or why we didnt just do what we did Sat...
From reading posts on other informed websites, the Swans LM ripped arsenal apart not so long ago 9last week), so maybe that was the thinking behind Ned. i saw a lot of posts saying that was the correct move (sorry cant remember his name)
i have to read other sites as just reading one makes views blinkered and you get tunnel vision.

As expected, the hysteria has changed since Saturday and when we win next weekend it'l all change again...its actually quite funny to read.

Knock yourself out guys..its keeping me entertained while i wait for Criminal Minds to come on <ok>

Haven't seen any Harry Out posts on here.

Although, now you mention it, perhaps that's the way forward... :)

The most frustrating thing is that if you set up away from home to sit back and play on the break (which I assume he is doing, or at least trying to do) then it's mildly important to play wingers or attack minded midfielders with a bit of pace. Kranjcar, Fer, Barton and Henry marauding forward on the break, scary stuff indeed. Harry seems obsessed with playing as many central midfielders as he possibly can each game. I'm not sure what Hoiletts done to Harry but he must be disillusioned seeing Fer play on the left wing every game. When was the last time you can remember an attack or cross down the left from us with Fer playing there? It doesn't happen. We have no width at all. Then he drops Isla who at least provides some attacking intent down the right and gets a good few crosses in per game or at least has the oppositions left mid tracking back, which puts them on the back foot. I've seen it mentioned Isla was injured, but he was on the bench so must have been fit enough to play some part.

We need Hoilett on the left, Vargas on the right, Henry or the woeful Barton with Fer/Mutch in the middle. BZ and Austin up top or Kranjcar off Austin. Stop playing 4 or 5 central midfielders every game Harold, square pegs and all that.

Truth is, he ain't done much for Harry for two seasons and he just doesn't rate him anymore. Its understandable to be fair.

If he'd get on the pitch for a half hour and finally live up to some of his potential then maybe he'd get another crack at it.

Granted he's not been particularly good or lived up to expectation but playing Fer at left midfield is just silly as he doesn't get down the byline, doesn't run at players or put them on the back foot and doesn't really track back either. As mediocre as Hoiletts been, I'd still give him at least 2 or 3 games in a row there to see if he can build some confidence. I can't ever remember him starting more than 2 games in a row. Even when he's played well in the past, the next game he's found himself back on the bench.

I'm not a fan of Arry's but to be honest we have historically been sh*te away from HQ. Below is some script from an old Red Dwarf episode I remember which sums up QPR away quite well:

    11 - Int./Ext. Scene desc.

    KRYTEN and CAT rejoin KOCHANSKI.

    KRYTEN:
What is the point of me giving my 'stay alert, everyone' pep-talk if no one is listening?

    CAT:
    What?

    KOCHANSKI:
    Look at this.

At the other side of the room are five male members of the Canaries. All of them stand perfectly still, like a peculiar Madame Tussauds exhibit. KOCHANSKI taps her watch and activates HOLLY who appears on a wall monitor.

    KOCHANSKI:
    What are they, Holl?

    HOLLY:
(On Screen) They look uncannily like something you should be very, very afraid of.

    CAT:
    What?

    HOLLY:
(On Screen) Mime artists. The ones you get in those trendy town centres, that chase you down the street, and then freeze when you look at them, and everyone laughs at you.

    KRYTEN:
I've never seen anything like this before. A group of men who display all the normal life-signs, but seem totally incapable of movement.

    HOLLY:
(On Screen) Never seen QPR play away, then?

    Yup.

We have got to just play like every game is a Final. Why not? We need points. We can draw the rest of the season for all I care, it's better than dropping points.
