I'm sure this thread alone will hurry Di Maria's return to the bench for the game <ok>

Di Maria is apparently off for two weeks at least. The consolation is that we have Herrera and Mata supporting the attack together with carrick and Fellaini providing defensive cover we are starting to get a decent midfield.

In time for Liverpool I hope...if only as an option. I would really like Rafael (and Shaw) back asap.

Young is having the game of his life <ok>

Just as I type that, assist from Young, Fellaini scores. 1-0

Stoke trying to park the bus

Yep agree. I thought we'd need to grind something out here, but two great chances and one put away. Excellent start tbf.

Still think our passing isn't as crisp as saturday, and Herrera is a bit too far forward. Goal came from him dropping deeper.

Games like this you see the difference Rooney makes. Just a little disjointed when we get in the final third. Something that Rooney keeps together.

Just looking at the goal again, Smalling really needs to take control of the situation. Just dabbing at it is fcking stupid.
