also prefer to see Caroll or Leon than Shelvey - JJ way too inconsistent for me, and needs some time out to sort out his consistency and concentration. I wouldn't be surprised to see Amat come in for Bartley. Not because Bartley did anything wrong - but for freshness, and to give Amat a game - he hasn't put a foot wrong until he got his unlucky injury. Need to keep our defenders fresh - and options open - Amat, Bartley and Federico are our longer term future.

Given their injury histories I think we need to keep all three sweet and rotating alongside Ash. TBH we've been spoiled with Williams as he is rarely injured and even when not performing well has a base level below which he never seems to fall. Future manager?

QPR are playing pretty well the last 4 Or 5 games, especially considering who they played in those games .They could throw a huge wrench in our plans by the time the rematch is finished .The boys better be up for this game and not be just expecting a result from looking at the table as is .

Lawro has us down for a win !
He a typical Scouse fan though - living in the past. If you look at his prediction table, Liverpool have played 13 but haven't lost a single game.

Time to get another one over on Caulker too.

Two relegations in two years for the young man!

Ladbrokes point out "Swansea may have just one win from their last five games but they are a tough nut to crack at home where they are unbeaten in four.
QPR, meanwhile, have lost all six of their away assignments this season and with the Swans taking the last two meetings by an aggregate score of 9-1 it’s Garry Monk’s side who must be backed here."

'have lost all six of their away assignments this season' - almost a cert to win tonight then <doh>

Yep Bob - they are bound to break their duck soon......... <yikes>

Hope it is not tonight!

Some intresting posts here lads, im not to sure of the whole reason you dislike us so much and to be honest I dont really care.

Could be an good game if we can find some kind of form.

Not overly bothered if you beat us as you have a decent team. I just want to see our team have a decent go and give it thier all. Not much more you can ask for at the moment.

If we do that then we may have half a chance.

We'll see - good luck ,<ok>

The results of our matches lately have hinged on having a decent ref in charge.Kevin Friend is no friend of ours, and strangely we have him tonight for the third time this season, the last two matches resulting in 7 yellows and a red for us.His most recent match in charge we drew 0-0 at Everton, where Shelvey was denied a certain penalty by a blatant dive and hand ball save from Alcaraz to Shelvey's shot on goal, which Friend and his linesman chose to ignore. Shelvey was then sent off for two bookable offences. The match before that was the 4-2 defeat at Chelsea, where Friend proved to be a true homer with some of his decisions.

Matches don't get much easier than this. Home to a team that lost all 6 away matches this season. We should win 3-0 or maybe even score a few more.

If my recent memory holds, you also described the then upcoming Palace game as "easy",i.e., a guaranteed 3 points. That worked out well.

Perhaps it's time to hang up your forecasting boots, and leave it to the experts - like Lawrenson. <laugh>

I have to assume two things , either you're a wum or out on day release .

Can you think of any easier matches this season? Just look at the table and QPR's away form. I'm genuinely interested to know which matches you think are easier. Not a wum at all. Even the betting shows it's one of the easiest of the season.

You're right - Lawro beat me with his 1-1 prediction. But's he's going for 2-0, so close to my prediction of 3-0. Palace game was easy, but we weren't up to it on the day.

"Swansea were stifled, stymied and ultimately held",by Palace, per BBC Sport.

QPR are yet to gain an away point, scoring only twice in six matches.

The scene is set then for The Swans' to donate yet more points to those in need.

Maybe, but we can pick up points from the difficult matches. We seem to be better at that.
