Bur we cannot score !!! sounds familiar ?? Even Leon Osman commentating says we should be leading 4 or 5-1

ft. Enjoyed that. They play to the whistle and keep their mouth shut with the officials, even when the ref gets it wrong. Proper Pros

It was nice to see some good attitudes out there. Watmore got denied a penalty so clear it was scientifically impossible not to give it, brings it up with the ref at half time, gets told to shut up and move on and just puts his hand up in acceptance and gets on with it. Refreshing.

We played some lovely football in midfield, but lacked a finisher, all three Everton goals were quality first time strikes.

Really impressed last night with the under 21s.
Evertons keeper was on the ball or we woulda scored 5 easy..

All over age players though clockstander. Thoroughy enjoyed that, pace to burn all over the pitch but familiar story twice as many shots as Everton but only 25% on target. Special mentions to honeyman, Oliver and mandron

I was going to mention that 13th but the Macca lad was just over at 22 and he was very good all night, as were the three Sunderland players you mentioned, in fact we played really well all round and with a bit more composure in the box we would have won it.
