Just because the players have played badly and they 'deserve' a hostile reception doesn't mean us fans should give them one. Just because the players are being rubbish doesn't mean the fans have to be rubbish too. We should set an example, show the players what good fans NCFC fans are and motivate them to play better for the club. The reaction after Reading was both pathetic and embarrassing and all it does is make the players feel isolated and angry (I think Ruddy's Twitter is proof of this). If I was a player and I knew the fans were this bad and didn't appreciate the players then I wouldn't want to play for Norwich.

It's a real shame what's happening but frankly some NCFC fans have represented our club so badly that I can't help but feel we have a lot of plastic, fairweather supporters polluting the stands on matchdays.

I will be at the Huddersfield game and I will support Norwich City 100% from the first whistle to the last, whatever happens.

It does make you feel embarassed, it's as if they've forgotten that the job of fans is to support the club not heckle it and what is their behaviour going to achieve?, will the team suddenly play better?

I think you're absolutely spot on.

But I can understand certain fans' frustrations. We have accumulated 60 points in our last 58 games. It doesn't take a mathematician to tell you that we're barely managing a point a game - and that's over an extremely extended time period. Even at our lowest, from 2006/07 to 2008/09, we managed 57 points in 46 games, 56 points in 46 games, 46 points in 46 games - a better average ppg than we have now, bar the season we got relegated from the Championship.

We've been too bad for too long and finally the cracks are starting to show everywhere - from the boardroom right down to the fans.

When I started going there was always a Dale Gordon, Ruel Fox or a Darren Huckerby who, every time they got the ball, there was a sharp intake of breath, the crowd were on their feet and an awareness that something really exciting was about to happen.

Surely, with the costs of attending matches these days, it's not too much to expect a little bit of that - once or twice a season?

Well, all I can say is that JR answered his critics today with his performance. His save in the first half was good, but I thought his 2 saves in the second half showed he is coming back to his best.

I also think Cuellar has to be one of the CBs from now on and I would play either R Bennett or Turner alongside him, so that Martin can play at RB and have Whittaker on the bench - he 'is the weakest link!!!!'

It will be interesting to see who arrives to bolster our defence in January. I'd just like to add that I don't expect many to leave. <ok>

He certainly made some fantastic saves, especially those two in the second half. Two consecutive clean sheets, hopefully the blip is over.

Our resident ITK 'source' on twitter is convinced we'll lose Ruddy in Jan.

He may well be a kid fooling around, or a complete twat, but all I know is, he's got more followers than moi <wah>

Personally, I think that all our constant whingeing just is a parallel with the whole Country's current cynical negativity. We really are turning into a collective bunch of moaners, addicted to shallow debate, unable to see positives in anything and hyping any failings or things that are not "perfect".

I suspect that, if it persists, we are going to get exactly what we deserve at the end of the season - sweet FA for City, losing our better players, and a poorer, divided UK. Something to look forward to!

There you go, I've finished my own moan <doh>

I see the Daily Star thinks Rogers will come in with a bid in the region of £8M.

I know he's said he wants to stay and he answered his critics emphatically against Huddersfield, but I feel if the bid went up to just over £10M, then he could be on his way.

If Liverpool do bid in January £8-10M he will be off and to be honest you really couldn't blame him. I have a personal loathing for Liverpool but at the end of the day, notwithstanding the fact that they haven't won the league title for a quarter of a century, they are still (surprisingly) regarded as one of the World's biggest clubs.

Was it £10m from Chelsea we supposedly turned down? It'll take more than that for the club to let him go in January.

I'm not so sure, I think a bid of £10m and he could well be off. Hopefully any scouts will have been taking notes of games prior to the last couple when he has started to look like the John Ruddy of old, rather than the under-par John Ruddy of the first three months of the season.

He'll probably be more inclined to leave this time round as we are now a division lower and he will have the chance to go in and compete for the number 1 position at Liverpool (which wouldn't have been the case for Chelsea). When a player wants to leave that always forces the clubs hand a bit.
