he needs a mantal reset. I am worried his best form comes when the ground hardens up come march to may. we will see.

He looks like his head is gone personally. not sure what to do when the first nature should be direct running, getting beyond players and shooting. he needs a video of him scoring goals played on repeat showing him doing the right things.... less of this oh look at him dribble then fall over ball and fluff his shot crap.

For Brighton Bent is a great signing. You cant deny his great goal record.

I'd even consider for for us right now.

    -

On Texeira, he had a serious injury at about 19 that almost ended his career. He needs to ease his way back into playing full time before playing for us. This loan should do that.

If we threw him in the deep end we could break him.

I'm not sure about bent. Doesn't look fit since I've seen him come on for villa a few times.

  11. Valdes is no longer training at Man Utd, he's got back to Spain. Liverpool reported to still be interested.

    no idea.

could only guess it might be because he wants decent wages still, and most want him as a decent backup only.

that rule don't apply to us obviously lol, but getting rid of migs first might, as doubt we would have both on decent wages, as why get rid of reina.

  14. He probably thinks he is better than he is so wants a better club to give him first team football than what's on offer. Maybe he was holding out because Man Utd showed a interested and he was deluded enough to think he could shift De Gea from the first team?

I think we could sign him but he'd want first team wages and I don't think we'd be prepared to have two keepers on that sort of money.

He'd walk into the team ahead of Mig at the moment but I still don't think he's a top keeper. He's a bit dodgy on crosses, about as good a shot stopper as Mig but a hell of a lot better distribution wise.

Commanding his area and coming off his line? Not sure, but he does seem to be susceptible to making the odd howler with the ball at his feet.

Cech is a better option than Valdes, if he's going to be available. Getting on a bit but very solid all round and has tonnes of experience.

Cech would never be sold to us, would love him here though.

Valdez would fit Rodgers playing style to the tee.

    4. Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal may be capable of pulling off a significant transfer coup after learning the availability of Karim Benzema.... again the express.

    7. Liverpool have offered midfielder Steven Gerrard a new contract but the 34-year-old is in no rush to accept what would be a one-year deal with a pay-cut (mirror) (other gerrard link will not be posted.
