The pitch invasions were a collaboration between a Youtube prank channel called Trollstation and a headphone company called Bassbuds, by the way.
Sue the f** out of both of them.

Bassbuds apparently make our Spurs branded headphones. Ffs <steam>

Besiktas gave us problems and we'll do well to get a point.

I agree TMT. I honestly don't think we should bother with that game though, send the kids on holiday to Turkey and let the rest concentrate on the league.

Partizan were the bottom club with no chance of going through so whether the invasions were meant to spike Spurs I don't know, the whole incident's crazy.

Right Yid. But I'd still like to end the group stage with a win.

It's a Youtube prank channel and they're just trying to get publicity for themselves. Seems to have worked, judging by their Twitter feed, but they're getting tons of abuse.
I expect Levy will be setting the lawyers on them tomorrow morning, so I hope Bassbuds paid them well, as they're going to need it.
Wouldn't be surprised to see a prosecution or three, either. All three invaders got arrested, though the headphone company has denied any connection with it.

I'd have thought that we'd send something of a second side out to Turkey and I'm not sure how strong Besiktas' side will be, either.
We've got so many players on the books that we should still be able to put together a decent side on paper, but whatever team we've picked hasn't played well recently anyway.
Our numerous absences might stop us from making too many changes, as well.

What's happened to Adebayor, Kaboul, Rose, Chadli, Townsend, Capoue and the like?
We could easily field this if they're available: Vorm; Naughton, Dier, Kaboul, Rose; Chadli, Capoue, Stambouli, Townsend; Dembele; Adebayor.
Make things compact and try to hit them on the break.

I do hope they invade the Millwall pitch next. But I'd advise them to make out their wills first!!!!!

Anyway to win this league we'll have to vastly improve. Normally we score quite prolifically in the group stages as we did last season with a 0-5 etc but only won 3-0 at home. That sort of score told me that we wouldn't win it unless we improved a lot at home. Well, 1-0 says it all and against the bottom club too so like last year I'm bracing for disappointment.

Thought Lamela, and Lennon played well,Soldado was unlucky this time,at least he keeps trying,Ade would have given up,but our defending is ****e,don't know why.as they are almost all internationals,we need to sort it out,or better teams will take us apart

Why are our corners universally ****, regardless of who takes them, who are manager is or who's in the box?

Because that is true for any club. Corners only work a very small amount of the time. To best try to make them work you need to just get over the first man or hit them long to someone at the back of the box both of which are hard skills.

They claim to be Arsenal fans, so the obvious answer is to ban the Goons from everything. <ok>

They're all still in custody, apparently. One of them was pulled for handling stolen goods, somewhat bizarrely.

I think the Spurs fans should knock the **** out of 'em! "Come back and we'll do it again!"

Arsenal should be henceforth returned to wence they came.Notably Woolwich so they can renew their local derbies with Millwall and Charlton!
