Tottenham have been unable to build a new stadium while Archway Sheet Metal remains on the proposed site. How convenient for the club, however its being treated as suspicious -really?
Yeah saw the talk of this on Twitter this morning. I can't decide whether I think it's been done by a Spurs fan or a possible inside job. Nice insurance pay-out right before the CPO Court Date in Jan, likely renovation work and I reckon the court date will now likely be delayed. Only one party really benefits from this and it's definitely not Spurs. I'll try and sit on the fence though, at least until an investigation is made.
I don't buy that loving the club statement mate, I don't know which one it was but one of the guys who runs the Archway Twitter account made their account private after mocking a few Spurs fans and getting major backlash, I appreciate they were already getting some grief anyway so making the account private was a fairly sensible decision but to then mock Spurs fans/ the club when they're supposedly "one of us" was a joke.
"Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three, anyone?" Hey boy. Hey girl. Super new stadium ... here we go !!!
Why are they called Archway Sheet Metal? Is that where they're from? Just a walk down the Holloway Road to the Emirates.......? Can they really be Spurs fans?
Apparently, when The NIMBY arrived at the scene, he immediately started shouting about a petrol bomb. There's one simple question in response to this: why was his immediate thought that somebody had thrown a petrol bomb through a first floor window? That's quite a specific claim to make - and that makes his response extremely suspicious.
I grew up in a time and place where no faith was as firmly held or as widely shared as the belief that the only thing that causes a business to burn down is its owner's desire to collect the insurance money. So I'm not sure I can be open-minded about this.
It seems to happen a lot around Croydon where, if there's a building in the way of a prospective property development, it quite conveniently burns down to get the ball rolling. The most obvious example being an old garage that was earmarked for some flats catching fire on Friday night, but not enough damage was done - so it caught fire the following Friday night as well. My main take on this is how you apply to be a professional arsonist, and what do you put on your business cards?
