Can't blame the ref or time wasting. We just had no urgency (missing Davis here) and our crossing was dreadful. Anyway, a point away from home is generally considered a job well done. Villa's poor recent form has only been due to the fact that they played all the top teams during that time. They held West Ham at Upton Park.
Wrong team selection for me. Picking Long was more or less saying that we know we are going to beat you, just depends by how many. Should have started with Cork with Long to bring on if things weren't working out. Even so, we would have lost that in previous seasons so a good point in the end.
Agreed. I thought he was pretty damn good. As per usual, I might add. On the whole, he's a bloody good ref. If I see him appointed to a game I don't get the collywobbles.
