They're not meltdowns, they're nothing more than an outpouring of tired resignation. No one really gets genuinely hot under the collar, or gets so silly as to fall out with other supporters.
If meltdowns were to be likened to books, we'd be Enid Blyton's "Four Go On A Picnic" as opposed to the Gooners' "The Book of the Apocalypse" by St John The Apostle.

Not sure you read it properly. Agree with what you're saying about the differences, but if they didn't have a manager who'd had a period of success and has been there for 18 years, I think they would have nothing to argue about and you'd just see the same tired resignation. The irony is the meltdown for gooners is partly a result of Wenger's own (distant) success.
I had a mini meltdown myself on Saturday night so before we lost it could have gone very wrong if we'd have lost on Saturday.
