myself and my good lady Dined here tonight, the service was really i good, food was awful!! Ordered calamari and the fillet steak,, the calamari was like rubber and overcooked, it was like chewing an elastic band,, and fillet steak was ordered medium, as it also states on the menu it will be done as such unless asked for differently,, it was came more than well done, dark grey and covered in a plate of mushrooms! like eating road kill!!! ive cooked many a better fillet steak myself at home!!! £21.00 for the fillet. My partners cheese fingers were obviously FROZEN, ive had better from mcdonalds! seriously!!! her fish was done in horrible jelly like watery sauce, I tasted it , it was foul ! She never ate it, waiter i asked if there was a problem and i told them straight,( as my wife desnt like conlfict and gets embarrased) the food was bland, tasteless, and we never got any apology. Nothing, never gave them a tip, Bill was £61.00, Best tip..Eat in Italian kitchen across the road.
i have read the owners replies to his reviews on here and also on facebook... slagging off his customers like they mean nothing to them, WELL, WE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO GIVE YOU OUR HARD EARNED MONEY PAOLO ! without US your business will go to the dogs! saying we are all wrong and other derogatory comments about people who only speak about the experience of your food, the place is beautiful inside, service was quick, efficient and friendly, but the food was really terrible !

Whoops its just been removed! Heres the jist of what he said but on facebook!!!

we both ate it all ??? what total bollocks ! the calamari was well overcooked and like rubber bands, surely a mediteranean style business should know how to cook squid?? ie, couple mins in frier !!! the cheese bites were frozen rubbish !!! the fish was terrible with a watery jelly like sauce!!! and the "fillet " steak was tough as an old pair of slippers and the mushroom sauce was terrible ! the so called "fillet steak medallions" was actually an end bit of the fillet and cooked far far overdone ! well if we enjoyed our food we would have said so wouldnt we?? i am in no way trying to belittle your restaraunt, but your CHEF !!! ........ we actually ate in the italian kitchen across the road a couple of times over the last couple of weeks and there food was of a much higher standard than yours! night and day, i think gordon ramsay should do a kitchen nightmares in your place to show the people of glasgow how rotten your cooking really is ... for all the bad reviews on tripadvisor and for you to slate everyone who has given you such reviews,,, are all these people wrong to be stating there food was horrible???? get your little cliquey pack of "customers" to ridicule the other reviewers, but i stand by my word, YOUR FOOD WAS ROTTEN !
