Ha ha I seem to remember very similar posts to this (and others in the chain) about a certain Cameron Stewart a couple of years ago, now whatever happened to him? Seriously though I do believe we have picked up a real gem in young Robbo and the offers will almost certainly soon be coming in for him, possibly as soon as January
I never rated Cameron, I got slated for calling him the Step-Over- King; but no Pool, you are right, this boy is different, class, real class. Play him at LB, probably the hardest position to fill, let alone get a threat from. We will cash in, but not until Summer 2016, methinks; Bruce ain't done with us yet and selling him would be saying so.
Robertson as a LB with 3 centre halves works for me. Is Brady better defensively? I don't think he is. Could Brady play LB in a back 4 and be more effective? I'm very doubtful. We therefore have two very good attacking wing backs that are well placed to play in a 3-5-2 formation. Unfortunately, you can only play one in that formation. What could we do to get them both on the left hand side in a 4-4-2? That I think with Elmo on the right and Diame in the centre creates a really attacking formation. I'm not sure who partners Diame - Huddlestone or Livermore? We need to be stronger when not in possession of the ball.
Interview with Robbo on Soccer Saturday called him the Pride of Yorkshire. Get in. Charlie Nicholas praising him highly. Brucey says elite clubs have been in contact about him. FFS

I'm sure we would play hardball over his transfer especially in January with our place in the league.
He won't be going in January, he'd be second fiddle at any top four club and he'd play week in week out for us, it'd be detrimental to his development. He doesnt sound like he wants to leave. Summer might be a bigger challenge, but he's more valuable to us than Long was so he'll go for more than £12m.
There is no way Bruce will let him go in January for 12 mill. Firstly a year from now he'll probably be worth twice that barring injury. He's already a star on the national team, will be sought after by top clubs across Europe, and is only 20 years old. He's already better than Shaw and we know what he went for. His future value to us as a player is massive and Bruce knows it. He's settled at Hull and theres no indication he wants to leave. When eventually he does go there'll be quite a bidding war I'm sure.
If Shaw is worth £30m - then Robertson isn't far behind. We took a chance on him, he's got a long contract. Therefore for £12m I'd be telling suitors to **** off.
