Rooney is obviously a very good player, but he was much better 4 years ago or so and has been on a slide since. England great? Nowhere near it, can't think of a single moment in memory that he has done something good for England.
Sadly, just as with the last England captain, Rooney will continue to play long beyond when he should and it will hinder England.

Euro 2004.

Danny blind now crocked

Carrick crocked

De gea slightly crocked

Utd fans must have to wonder why them I guess?

All they need now is di maria to drop with some unknown virus and the perfect storm is complete

Well maybe if Rooney survive the kicking hodgson is predicting for this meaningless friendly utd can build round England's greatest

See Keane wants to hold talks with Martinez about McCarthy and Coleman - McCarthy has missed the Republic's last three Euro 2016 qualifiers and Coleman sat out last month's game in Germany. Both played for Everton four days after the Germany game. Keane - ''You always get the impression from Everton that Seamus and James are both barely able to walk, that type of thing. So when they actually turn up and they are walking through the reception, [you think] 'Praise the Lord, it's a miracle'." <laugh>

Anyone see the mancs financial returns? Quarterly data down just about 10% year on year but still a profit

Not enough to cover the vast sums to be spent on players but fairs fair they ain't bad results all considered

They had £100m in cash reserves in their previous set of accounts.

Set up nicely for a return to europe. Wage bill down, sponsorship up, substantial cash in the bank.

Very little, sorry, nothing to worry about at united

They are never quite sure which position someone plays in, just watch their team and you wil see what i mean <ok>

(i think it all started with Brendan and his inside wingers and false No1s and such)

If we picked our team they would have been different to the ones picked <ok>
