we are looking pretty decent imo, clyne and shaw could be our fullbacks for a long time to come, rooney MOTM for me, outstanding, looking promising, would like to see us against some decent opposition in a competative match to really gauge where we are though

Nigel Quashie

Only cos he couldn't get in the England team he was born in London.

Fair play though, forgot about him.

Straight forward win that, Rooney could take the scorer record soon inside Bobby charltons appearances if he stays on good form. Certainly should do it based on games started.

Real Captains performance from him tonight, good game.

I'm within 3 goals of beating Bobby Moores international goal-scoring prowess myself. Done it in far fewer games too.

a chap called Andrew Watson was the first in 1881

The first 25 to 30 minutes were great. It was like a good old premier game!

Why can't we start like that every bloody game? Just play to our strengths!

Why do we have to start every game so bloody slow and predictable?

He's a tool always has been always will be, obnoxcious twat, england were playing against championship players at best they were nothing special, no wirld class players

Rather harsh mate. Players league standings have never counted for much in the old firm game. Passion has always counted for more.

10,000 empty seats with England selling out their 5,000 allocation..Pretty dire support from the Scots in my opinion..

We played well tonight and tbh wasn't expecing such a comfortable win. We dont seem able to play under pressure ie when points are at stake...also the atmosphere seemed a bit flat right from the off and not exactly the hostile one predicted...

I thought we sent tickets back? And it was just a friendly after all.

Stated on TV that we sold our 5,000 allocation and the crowd was 49,000. So allowing for 1,000 seats for segregation, that still leaves 10,000 seats empty..
PS..No such thing as a Scotland v England 'friendly' in my opinion..
