You already know I'd have rather have had Eto'o than Balotelli. I think they are both pricks but for differing reasons. I've also said I'd rather have Shane Long or play Fabio Borini than either of them :)

<laugh>

Shane Long or Borini over Eto'o? are you on crack?

Hindsight is wonderful eh...<laugh>

PS...would you like to see Suarez in a Everton shirt?

I missed the past tense on that quote tbh....

I'd rather see Ched Evans in an Everton shirt than Goofy mate.

I've seen people use the gamble argument before. It was a gamble in liking to placing six months salary on a elephant winning a horse race!

I didn't want Mario- but I didn't and I don't think most people saw him be as big a flop- at least not in the same way. I think most of us thought he'd be mediocre if he didn't work out (I dream of mediocracy from him)- or he'd be hot headed maniac who caused panic in the dressing room. I don't think most people honestly realised he'd be as non-prolific as he has been.

I've no doubt about that. I saw a few were happy about the signing too. However, I can't say I am surprised with how its gone since its pretty much as I expected. In fact, he's actually done better than I thought he would <laugh> Pretty sure Gonzo is the same too.

Watched origi twice against a mixed Everton backline and was not impressed. He never took Hibbert on, beat him for strength or pace....he looks raw to the point of not being good enough.

When you give a 30+ RB an easy ride for two games....it doesn't look good. His record in league goals is also not so hot. I can't imagine him getting much luck against more experienced PL defenders

He looked a nuisance without much of an end product to me. As you say once the likes of Distin and Hbbert (combined aged 71) figured him out, he barely caused them a problem.

he must be kack.... he signed for lfc.

don't you lads get it.. he's not trying a leg mario style

<laugh>

Eto's will be retiring at the end of the year no doubt or next. Borini was valued at £14m in the summer.+ Etoo will be on twice the wages.

Whilst one is clearly more effective on the pitch, there's only one that makes financial sense.

Unless having Eto'o over Borini would have helped us get top four again <whistle>

Yes I certainly am I've never rated him and was gutted when we signed him.

Eh? Eto'o's on £50k per week and Borini £45k.....

One cost £11m and the other £0

One is a 1 in 2 World renowned striker, the other is Borini <laugh>

Whilst you might get your cash back on Borini, he's still cost you wages and he's contributed jack ****.

And there you have it. As astro said the bitters hate all our present, past and somehow all future players <laugh>

It was a stupid enough comment when he made it......at least he has the excuse of youth.....

So the latest rumour is that we are preparing to bring Origi to Anfield and pay an additional £5m for the pleasure. If true (massive IF), someone seriously needs their head testing!!

look there is zero zero way a 10mil player is worth 5mil a year on loan. ergo was he a 15mil player? i dunno i only saw WC, was agreement for cancellation covered?

Well it saves FSG having to splash out for a new striker in January, so I can see the rationale

he's 19...............

well done fsg and rodgers. if this is your solution i'm hoping 14th is possible. 4th no chance, 14th? lets hope so

With a little luck! <ok>

BR has had one good half season with one of the best players in the world playing at the top of his game.....on the back of that, he was allowed to spunk a lot of money on some big gambles. I hope, for his sake, that things start to click or we'll all rightly question his ability post Suarez!
