One of your most stupid posts ever (despite some amazing competition)

I thought you were never going to come back Dan, only the great Cove was able to bring/lure/force you out of retirement<laugh>

When Cove made the comment he hadn't been playing that well up to mid way 2nd quarter, add to that his previous performance against NE where, in his own words, "I stunk".

Peyton's magic is not gone just yet, but we are all guilty of making audacious comments sometimes in the heat of the moment.

What's going on with Adrian Peterson?

There was a preliminary hearing and Peterson took the plea deal for no contest on one count of misdemeanor reckless assault. Which basically means his trial is over, he get's a fine of 8,000 dollars and 80 hours of community service.

But he lost a lot more since last week:

But because the trial is over, AP and the Vikings can file for reinstatement, same goes for Rice of the Ravens. It's up to the NFL organisation, I think even Goodell has a say in this, if they can come back.

welcome back Dan - shield of Peyton's Pride!!

How you doing?

Peyton doesn't need me to shield his pride, I think the five touchdowns did that! Things are going pretty well though, keeping busy.

I didn't ever say I was retiring at all! Granted it will take much more than being irritated by Cove to make me ever post again on the Southampton board, though you shouldn't expect to see me on here either unless I hear something that particularly takes my interest. Saying the magic is completely gone for the best player of all time just because of one bad week against one of the best teams of all time will do that.

An owner right now is probably looking to move their franchise, if they aren't they should consider this. Average NFL crowd figures for Wembley since 2007 are 82,763. Only the Dallas Cowboys in 2013 had a higher total 88,043.

Jags, Bucs and Rams fans must be thinking it could happen to them/me. I wouldn't think the Raiders but you never know.

If anything, the Raiders would go back to LA. The Jaguars and the Bills(remember they wanted to move to Toronto earlier this year).
If not those two, only then I can see the Rams coming into the picture, but only because of this: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/05/sports/football/wary-of-losing-rams-st-louis-is-set-to-huddle-on-stadium.html?_r=0

I don't think the Raiders would go back to LA, Oakland is their original home, out of their 54 year history only 12 of those were in LA. One thing is for sure that LA should have at least one team. It seems mad that for nearly 20 years they haven't had any NFL in LA.

Raiders are set for a move. Not to San Antonio but they will move. With the A's signing another tenure deal for O.co Coliseum, the Raiders are in a bad position for negotiations. Logistically it's a nightmare to switch the stadium from an NFL pitch to a baseball pitch every 2 days.

That's hella cool Cove! You can almost spot the point where the crane operator goes for his tea break. So depending on how well the A's do in the Baseball season, the longer they have to go through changing it.
