Much better second half, despite some defensive sloppiness.
Joke MOTM. Welbeck deserved it, for me.

San Marino and the Faroe Islands both kept clean sheets this weekend. What are the odds of that...

Why should it be moved? The NFL sells out Wembley - Twickenham has 8000 less seats.

There were claims that there were 80000 people at tonight's match - even if that's true (which I doubt based on the number of empty seats visible), that's still some 10000 seats off full.

Because a ****e pretend game of Rugby has ruined the pitch to the extent that it will take up to 3 months to get back into the condition it should be in for the game it was intended for. Wembly is meant to be the National teams home stadium, not some venue for American franchises to make extra money.

Because Twickenham has a surface that's both suitable for American Football and prepared for it. Wembley doesn't.
Why damage the experience of people watching the England national team for an event that can take place at a more appropriate venue?
Wembley is a football stadium, first and foremost. That should remain the priority.

It's not as if I'm suggesting that the NFL game be moved to some tiny dump, is it?
I disagree with the game being played here, in much the same way that I disagree with the stupid 38th game concept, but not because I'm against the sport itself.
Twickenham's a nice, large venue. The only reason that Wembley's chosen is that the place needs to make money and they don't care about anything else.

Because Wembley cost way more than it should've and if it was held at Twickenham then the RFU would get the money, not the FA. Also they had a game at Twickenham last weekend and this weekend too.

The FA really ****ed up in building another Wembley, it was a vanity project and rightly cost them. We'd have been much better off letting England tour the country.

Rooney says he will never retire from international football.

I know that The FA are determined to have him become England's record cap-holder by any means necessary, but having him play until he's into his 70s is going too far.

Liechtenstein won 1-0 away to Moldova.
Combine that with Greece's 1-0 loss to the Faroe Isles and San Marino's 0-0 with Estonia and that's quite a bet.

Well done Wales 0 - 0 in Belgium.

Chris Coleman now there is someone who should be on our radar, he would have been a much better prospect than a Portuguese or an Argentine IMO.

People were saying the same about Mark Hughes when he was Welsh coach, just like they were saying it when Alex McLeish was Scotland coach. Reality begged to differ in both cases.

A great result and Wales do look like a work in progress. Not convinced about Coleman, and not for me at spurs, but he does seem to be doing a decent enough job at Wales.

Yeah, especially pleased for Bale, he appears to be edging towards his first international finals. Don't rate Coleman at all, they're capable of playing far better football than the dull, defensive stuff they're coming up with at the moment. He does have the defence well organised though and Hennessey has been very good in goal for them.

    No thanks to Chris Coleman.

Plus didn't he quit his job at Real Sociedad because of a clash with the President. I bet compared to Levy he was a softie.

No. He was linked with Birmingham and Fulham, but he hasn't taken a job since Norwich.

We were cruising for about 5 seconds. France have pushed forward so well, they fully deserve to be back in this game. 2-2 and still in the first half. Spurs players doing ok.
