You honestly think he was being serious? Does the fact that even the OP admits he got it wrong after being shown the evidence that he isn't anti-English (see Tim Henman) not make you think you've got it wrong? I don't really care if you like Murray or not but don't base it on something isn't even true. Be better than that.
Murray probably does 100s of interviews all the time. He's Scottish, so probably was having a bit of banter with the reporters, he's still quite young and seems a bit mouthy. If all you have as proof of his anti-englishness is a **** joke he made 5 years ago then you're a bit dumb
A joke which, by the way, came about as a result of him being ribbed about Scottish football by Tim Henman and others. Which of course would, by the logic of the mentally-challenged on here, mean that Henman he must be anti-Scottish.
Apart from the context of the joke and the fact he said it was a joke and the fact that even Tim Henman says Murray is proud to be British and doesn't hate the English. But apart from that I'm sure you're right.

Oh, for the love of God. First of all, you base your dislike for him on something that's been proved wrong. So now you change and and claim it's because he's a mummy's boy, a bottler and irritating in general (you must spend a lot of time in his company I'm guessing).
