See voting for sky is a wasted vote in my opinion. Others aren't going to vote for him so it's a bit of a ease.

I think it just meant to casts doubt rather than get sky up for a lynch.

 

Right that's my lunch finished, back to work, will be back when I get a break or atleast before the end of the day.

Surely while we have one vote already up for Sky we need to look at getting a 4 people on 3 votes (or 3 people on 4). 2 votes is nowhere near enough when we already know we're one vote down for the cop.

 

I'd like to see 4 people on three votes. I'd also like it to be fluid... if there is no movement, try and add someone else to the danger zone.

 

I was about to say "because sky is a threat to the Mafia". However, I thought I'd have another quick look at the role first:

So, other than arresting someone, can the cop do anything else? Does the cop find out what role their prisoner has? If so and the prisoner is Mafia, are they out of the game; aka in prison for their crimes?

 

Its also the only person the mafia could pick that would attract attention. If they asked you to vote for anyone else it wouldn't have been picked up at all.

Also, if the leaned-on person survives, they'll have a good idea that the person they voted for is innocent. Since we already know that with Sky, that's one less piece of information on our side (even if only one person would know it).

 

I don't think he has investigative powers. He's a known innocent, which, in itself is very useful information. (especially if Sky can be on and vocal).

 

Bit of a rubbish cop, really.

 

As the town all we can do for certain is ensure his safety first round You look slightly suspicious by voting for him but for anyone else it'd be crazy...as long as we keep it like that then its a small battle won

 

I realise that, I just assumed after reading the OP (the first time) that he had powers similar to previous cops(investigation abilities) but if its just putting them in custody from nightfall to 10am its not that good a role bar being a known innocent. Similar to my previous Doctor role I guess.

 

which IMO would have been more sensible. If you forced some innocent to vote for another innocent thats not sky then you would be able to have 5 votes to play with in the background and make sure you got as many innocents up for a vote as needed.

I dunno but it suggest the mafia are thinking twisty which is a biscan property...

 

well i think its got lots of possibilities. he can lock up someone who might be killed or lock up a suspect of his who is not getting a vote. Can he save someone from a lynch?

 

In the first round the Mafia don't need tactics, its easy to avoid losing one of your own because there is so little to go on. By forcing Biscan to vote for sky its taken any potential focus off them completely. We're already almost five hours into the game and all we've discussed is Sky and Biscan I'd say the Mafia's plan is working!

that is an interesting point as they could ask for their own team member to be voted for and then people would think they are innocent.

I think we must be missing something that will be revealed as aside form this being a weak move by mafia they must have had some reason for going this way. either weak or there's something else at work.

 

not if the 4 way vote has one of them in it. I said focus on the vote.

in the last 2 hours since brb made it a 4 way there have been no votes including you. your vote does nothing right now.

so do we have the right 4 guys up... very little to go on.... and how many votes each. I'd rather get 2/3 up to 3 than leave it like this. I'd ideally like later the non voters come on and help make it a good 3/4 way tie.

 

OP says lynch then arrest, so presumably not, no. I wondered the same thing.
