I'd have him on a pay to play deal like he was last time.

Wouldnt mind him but only if we lost one of our other midfielders. Maybe on loan in January when we start looking for Barton replacements.

I wouldn't mind on a loan basis again, ONLY if we sell Guthrie/Smith.. then yes I wouldn't mind because he can also cover RM. Injury prone though!

you do understand he picked up almost no wages from us and got maybe one or two chances to show us what he could do right?? <doh>

Look, just because you've got a hard-on for me doesn't mean that simply making stuff will make me look wrong.

You are talking total **** - he signed on loan and got paid a very handsome return for sitting on the treatment table. FACT...<ok>

I think you may owe him an apology - even if he does have a hard-on for you, he is right in that Ireland was on a pay as you play deal! BTW FACT was a great album by Carl Cox (as was FACT 2)

At a good price it's an easy yes. He is a good player, Barton had big injury problems initially and look how he turned out once he got over them.... Ireland has talent, get him fit and playing we could be talking about how big a bargain he was.
