We need to find a way to bring Origi back in and I would be all over signing Berinho in January, we need pace and movement upfront.

and Balotelli on loan went do it for Lille. I think money will be the only way.

Personally I'd rather sign some one and let Origi finish the season in France.

Negredo is on loan at Valencia from City, would anyone take him instead of Mario?

His loan deal has a compulsory purchase clause in it. He's basically been sold with the fee to be paid next summer

Oh damn, he's a very good player and I'd love him at Liverpool.

Although he's only made 2 appearances for Valencia this season so far.

I would play Coates up front instead of Mario...
    I think that's a silly question <ok>

  11. Not convinced he's the perfect fit in terms of style but he is willing to work hard and knows where he net is.

That's what we need atm, someone who can score goals, and like you say he certainly knows how to do that.

    When's Studge back? <whistle>

  13. We lack the movement and effort more IMO. I'd prefer someone like Lavezzi or Tevez, any young versions of them about? <laugh>

Lacazette, Kevin Volland, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Son Heung Min.

These are players in their early to mid 20's, bags of potential and already playing at a high level. They are all 1-2 tiers below world class level as well.

These were the types of players we should have been signing instead of Lallana etc.

Re. Negrado - he's not the type of striker we need or one who will flourish in our style. We'll end up with the same problem as we have with Mario.

Also, whilst Origi and Berahino are big talents and they would help improve the depth in our attack - we need to be buying more established players. Just don't give Rodgers the money else we end up established players like Lovren, Lallana and Lovren.

Lacazette turned us and Arsenal down so that he could stay in France.

I'd say as well as Lallana, not instead of. Lallana is a useful player.

Lallana is a very good squad player, no doubts about that. But when you spend £23m on a player, I expect him to be starting and I look to him to make a difference. Even the manager didn't have faith in him to take him off the bench today.

That same manager is putting faith into Balotelli so thats not the easiest way to judge it.

Lallana's fee only rises to that height with add ons. I dont know what we have paid for him so far.
