Lots of whispers coming out of Fleet Street that Cellino is planning an exit strategy. Whether it's his own choice or he's been given a heads up that the FL are about to throw him out is uncertain. This would explain the talks with Red Bull and would also explain why he has not bought Elland Road back like he promised (several times). Would also explain why he has put the McCormack money in his sky-rocket nb - Not a wind up - Am sure it will be all over twitter later (if it isn't already). Pretty sure one of the YEP journo's must be all over it now!!
Fleet streets been saying that crap all season and always been crap. The only thing they are any use for is wrapping chips.
Hope you are wrong TC (although you normally get it right) because i really believe Cellino will take them back to where they belong
Phil Hay ‏@PhilHayYEP 1h1 hour ago Cellino: "We cannot buy the stadium before we solve that problem. Not buying the stadium now is protecting the club." #lufc Phil Hay ‏@PhilHayYEP Cellino: "Buying the stadium today is giving a chance to someone else to hurt the club more. I cannot allow that." #lufc The "king of spin" is at it again Seems there is some truth to it
Lets face it TC if Pinocchio bought the club and spilled them a load of bollox and grew a 12 foot hooter this lot would have believed every word
According to press reports MC has said that he cannot get a bank to provide a mortgage for the purchase of Elland Road, even though MC is only asking for 50% of the purchase price....... btw MC is worth (according to the same report)£750M......
The word on the street is that MC has been searching for parachutes to arrest Leeds freefall into oblivion
