Chelsea have had problems with QPR in recent years, for some reason.
The last time that they faced each other in a league season (2012-13) saw them draw at Loftus Road and lose to a Shaun Wright-Philips goal at Stamford Bridge.
They failed to score in either game, somewhat bizarrely.
The previous season saw them lose 1-0 at Loftus Road, picking up two red cards and seven yellows, though the reverse fixture was an easy 6-1 win.

They'll have taken any kind of win today. Mourinho would anyway, but it puts pressure on City for tomorrow and stretches the gap even wider.
A win next week against Liverpool would do a lot of damage to Jose's old mate Rodgers, but I think he'd enjoy seeing them put well and truly out of the race so early.

Not seen it, but a very harsh decision according to Harry Redknapp.

Chelsea fans are ****, according to this bloke:

Maybe that's because Premier League clubs are filling up their stadiums with tourists, as they've priced out a lot of the old fans?
Maybe people who've paid £75 for a ticket expect a little more entertainment for their money?
Still, it's not like you're taking £13m a year to be there, is it...?

This man just has to open his mouth doesn't he but as things stand it's difficult to see who will stop them. City seem to be fading and who else is there?

City will push Chelsea. A bad week doesn't rule them out. They have the best squad and they have shown they can put a run together at the end of the season to win it. Many of their better players are hardened PL winners now - Hart, Zabeleta, Kompany,Toure, Silva, Aguero- plenty of quality there. Utd had 35 points from 20 games around Xmas in 2002 and won it. Injuries, suspensions, loss of form, bad refereeing decisions, fixture congestion, fatigue - there are countless things which can have an effect in the next seven months, which might not seem apparentnow, 10 games into the season.

Smalling manages to accumulate 2 yellow cards + 1 red. All inside 40 mins!....

9. Exactly. Which is why it is imperative that Whinger stays on for as long as possible.

If they get rid of him, we can all kiss goodbye to the North London Power-Shift.

10. Manchester United have spent £150m and ended up with a back four containing Michael Carrick and Antonio Valencia. Quite some effort!

His first yellow was similar to Balotelli yeaterday which wasn't even given as foul play.

Difficult to know what to make of 1-0. Utd are misfiring and so too are City on this display.

His second one was just brainless! Whoever said, "if you go to ground you must get the ball" should have added, especially if you've already been booked!..

Anyone care to take a stab at what Smalling was thinking for the first one? He wasn't achieving anything and was always going to get booked. Odd.

City are as clutch as any United team under Fergie. Chelsea had the chance to deliver near knock out blows to City at the Etihad and Old Trafford. Whilst City and United deserved their respective points (at least) 10 wins from 10 would have been irrecoverable.

Today's Man Utd lineup was apparently the most expensive team in the history of the Premier League:

No idea why De Gea's name is edited out. £241m.
