Wow! They haven't had a big decision go their way now for ... well, since they last played.

That's pathetic by Marriner. Books Taylor for wandering about offside when the free-kick's being set up, then bottles making the wall move back 10 yards.
    Absolutely spineless.

Really sloppy defending by Moreno for Newcastle's goal. Teed it up for Perez.
Mignolet's just kept them in it, too.

Robbie Savage is a twat. He's annoying, he talks balls and he's got no insights into the game, as far as I can tell.
Still far superior to Michael Owen, though! Keep it up, Robbie. <ok>

Joey Barton is going to watch Brentford v Derby this afternoon, as he couldn't get a ticket for the Chelsea v QPR game...

He views Balotelli in the same way Ron Atkinson would. Establishment bollocks got him that job, sums up this country.

Robbie Savage is the establishment? Really?

Balotelli doesn't do himself any favours, but he's not exactly playing in a side that's looking to play to his strengths, as far as I can see.
Isolated as hell and Rodgers expects him to play like Sturridge, when he's not that kind of player. Calling him out publicly was probably a mistake, too.

I thought red cards only applied to the competition in which they were awarded? Or are the categories just domestic and Europe?

Domestic and Europe. UEFA's competitions have no say here and vice versa.

    Unless you're Luis Suarez.

  14. Spanners losing 0-2, after their keeper had been doing a "Defoe" and giving it large about finishing in the top 4!

Nothing to do with being Establishment, more to do with some ****wit at the BBC believes he makes good TV - which is best summed up with what WSC said about him a few months ago:
The BBC's continued employment of Robbie Savage, meanwhile, is presumably down to some dumb bigwig's belief that he's "provocative". In fact, the only things that Robbie Savage "provokes" are rolled eyes and muttered expletives, and then a lunge for the remote control. Yes, the British public love an idiot, but only if they're in some way unique - Savage could have been hauled out of any horrendous high-street pub in the country. A loudmouth with something to say is good television. A loudmouth with nothing to say just looks like what they are: an obnoxious, pig-ignorant fraud.

Am I being cruel to Chelsea. They seem to be "doing an Arsenal".Remember last season?Arsenal were presented with a fixture list where they seemed to be playing lower teams week after week, which took them to the top of the league. Then theyhad to play the top teams in a row.....and screwed up.
It seems Chelsea are on a similar run and just scraping past. But,however you look at it,three points is three points and bonuses if they come out on top against the top lot.
Chelsea have something Arsenal didn't have......a defence.

I've noticed for a couple of weeks that Chelsea's scores are getting closer and today a penalty scraped them by, still lucky.

Top teams in a row? I'm an arsenal fan but Chelsea are doing far better than us last season. Unbeaten away at City and United... Comprehensively beat us at home...

Only a quarter of the season gone.

Yet every season the team making a flying start can't lose the league, could be the new "Invincibles" etc etc. The problem with this cliché is it often proves to be totally wrong. Chelsea made a flying start a couple of years ago and didn't finish within 20 points of the title. Favourites they may be, but they need to continue in get results in 28 games over the next seven months before they can be crowned champions. They've had to work for results in the past week. They'll be tested again many times before the end.

Tested today, only a penalty to beat one of the bottom teams.
