Which players can you only remember from a single game?

They could win the Uefa cup and get back into it so my theory is they are purposefully playing for 3rd in their group ;)
 
Robert Rosario for managing to hook a ball over the cross bar away to Forest when he was stood on the line !
I still can't work out the logistics of how it was possible ?!!

I can't speak for Dave, but I for one hate it when those old guys go on about incidents like that, whilst us young 'uns are left wondering what they are on about.

It's great to see a clip - it's almost like I was there! <laugh><ok>.
 
Alex Notman.

I know he was injury blighted, and spent a couple of years at the club going in and out of the first team, but i can't for the life of me remember a single moment of him playing other than to set up Iwan's goal at Cardiff in the Playoff Final.

Was he actually any good?

I remember it well but I also well-remember a stunning 30 yard strike by him (I think it was a volley) at Middlesborough (Ayresome park) in the early 80's when we won 3-2 (Sadly no YouTube clips available to prove it)

Poor old Rosie, he was one who tried hard but never quite looked like footballer to me, more Bambi on ice than poetry in motion.
 
One for the Ipswich lads, watching Trevor Putney's equaliser v Liverpool in 1987. Trailing to an Ian Rush goal at half-time, Putney turned in a MotM performance leading to Kevin Drinkell's late winner. One of my favourite games in the day when you could stand. I think he was in a swap with John Deehan which I thought was a pants deal for us. Other players worth a mention for me are Dean Coney and Ulf Ottosson. One for the future could be Ricky. There's something about one-goal strikers! Any more?
 
Graham Benstead against Hull (I think) with Steve Bruce absolutely screaming at him to "stop ****ing around" when a ball was clearly going wide and he just flicked his leg out to let it go out.
 
Carl Bradshaw, remembered only for his Suarez like biting attack on a Norwich taxi driver and subsequent prison sentence.

His contract terminated on his release...<laugh>
