Just looking at league goals/games return at the moment and surprised at the numbers.

I've no idea what you're talking about, I don't use JA606. I have an account but only because I signed up there (along with here and SW) when the original 606 closed.

Listing our two clubs strikers in order of (my) preference:

  1. Sturridge
  2. Lukaku
  3. Eto'o
  4. Koné
  5. Lambert
  6. Naismith
  7. Borini
  8. Balotelli

So you guys have the better crop of forwards but we have the best one (ignoring injury records of course :P)

Why not compare Lambert and Eto'o?

Both a similar age, reaching the twighlight of their time in football. Or we could look at Lukaku against Borini, both are young international players with about the same number of games played in english football(maybe?)

We specialise in Norwegians <laugh>

My point was, from a Liverpool fans perspective it was never a case of Lambert or Eto'o. It was Eto'o or Balotelli. For some reason, you focused on Lambert despite him clearly not being bought as a first team player unlike Eto'o and the latter comparison making for maximum piss take.

For the record, I'd have taken Eto'o over Balotelli or Lambert. However, I also said I rather keep Borini or even sign Shane bloody Long then sign Mario or Samuel too <ok>

Lambert was bought as a fourth striker; we had Sturridge, Suarez and Borini at the time of signing him and arrivals were still expected along with Luis' possible departure too.

Eto'o was signed near the end of the window and is probably your second choice behind Lukaku.

Oh, and I answered your question too by the way but feel free to continue ignoring that bit ;)

I never said that you said key, I asked how many games this key player had started?

Guess we could always compare teh key summer striker purchases made by each club and look at Lukaku and Mario.....but did you say that you wouldn't talk about Mario?

TBH, I don't usually do these comparison things. The only reason I'm commenting here is because I'm bored as **** at work and these boards seem dead today <ok>
