True. Especially if a club has any pretensions towards European competition, they must learn the art of successful squad rotation.
 
How long has this squad rotation thing been going on? When I were a lad I don't recall teams playing weak sides in the cup?

There's weak, and then there's teams who have more than eleven strong players. We can rest players without being weak.
