LetÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¾ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãââs be realistic, it's won't be possible for us to sign Modric or Bale, even if we had the money, the new European FFP rules will definitely limit us to the amount of money we can spend in a given year. By most calculations I have seen in accordance with the FFP rules, United could net spend somewhere in the region of 50 million pounds per year if our revenue and expenditure remain at current level. Also, Spurs would be silly to sell for anything less than 30 million and IÃÆÃâÃâ ââ¬â¢ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃââÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆÃâÃââÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¾ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãââm sure if these players were available both City and Chelsea would have a look in as well.
With that being said, United have to continue with its policy of purchasing unproven players with bags of potential, like Rafael, Nani, Hernandez, Anderson, Fabio, Smalling, etc... In terms of area that needs addressing, we definitely need a new DM and an LM who is adaptable to play on the right wing, also the GK position will need to be looked at. For a possible DM, the likes of Schweinsteiger or Sneijder, and also for the AM position. Both of them can play in both of those positions.
