Relatively recent by the standards on here. Been a regular since 98/99, season ticket holder from our second season at the kc till this season.

Whilst I agree some people do have dubious motives for going in the wrong end, I've always gone with a home supporter (they've often accompanied me on the return game) and found that a polite chat and showing a bit of knowledge about their team has kept things pleasant.

You need to take a look at yourself if u think the lass is in need of shaming !
To want to take it any further than a tutting on a forum is just simple bullying

    Get some perspective !

    ^^^ This

People need to grow the **** up, I don't like the shirt or that fact it was worn in the away end but its not worth getting wound up over, in fact its quite pathetic how far people are taking it.

There was a bloke a couple of rows in front of me on Saturday loudly singing You'll Never Walk Alone as the teams came out and then shouting come on Liverpool after the handshakey bit.

Me and a couple of the blokes the row behind him got into a pretty heated argument with him for the first 5 odd minutes after which he shut up, then at half time the stewards had a word.

If they had scored early it wouldn't have surprised me if it had kicked off.

She certainly deserves the piss taken out of her,but nothing more.

Surely being a football fan is all about identity.About an allegiance to a team through family or though locality.Wearing that shirt is a rather schizophrenic thing to do at a football game.Yeah, she may have some links to both teams but being a fan is a tribal existence and if you're sat with Hull City fans in an away end then you'd think you should be wearing City colours, not anyone else's.

It also makes us look decidedly tinpot as a club.

    Exactly.

Football/sport is probably one of the last things on earth where tribalism is acceptable in the 21st century, and that's not a bad thing at all.

Supporting two teams is just a ****ty thing to do.

They're not really seen as acceptable though, are they?

    Anyway, that's besides the point.

Football should be about loyalty and devotion to one club and your national team.

Depends who you ask, many people would say tribalism in football isn't acceptable either.

Its only because your looking at it from the inside that you think its okay. Other people might see its as ridiculous and unnecessary, in the same way we view religion.

If I had seen her I would have thought she looked stupid ...I just wouldn't have said anything to her .

Chances are I would have said it looks stupid if it had been an adult male .

I also think half and half scarf wearers look stupid imo. But maybe they think I look stupid in my docs .

The only time a half 'n' half shirt is acceptable is when its half home kit and half away kit. This could become a new fashion..I said it first. Patent applied for.

I just think she shown have shown her alliances to both clubs in other ways. Not by wearing a shirt in an area where it could have kicked off.

A Liverpool bra and Hull City knickers?

Shouldn't that be a bra with a cup of both City and Liverpool?

Jack Taylor didn't give us a penalty at Stamford Bridge in 1966.

There are definite differences between football fans & Premier League fans.

Until recently City & the Premier League had rarely crossed paths. This has, for many, been convenient as they could openly support their main PL team whilst keeping half an eye open for City's lower league result.

Now we're part of the Premier League establishment many supporters, on certain match-days, find themselves caught between the devil (their main PL team) & the deep blue sea.

As embarrassing as it was, at least this two team bint had the courage (or ignorance) of her convictions. There is no doubt this week her primary reason in urging City to victory against Southampton will be City winning will be of benefit to her main team.

She's only a one off in the respect that in wearing that abomination she had the arrogance to highlight her football supporting ignorance. Behind her, hiding, there are thousands of others who all have their "special" second Premier League team but currently also support City. They'll only come out of hiding & revert to their norm when City are relegated.

As previously stated the only purpose a half n half scarf serves is to highlight ****s.

I'm very proud of my souvenir half and half scarves for Trencin at home and Lokeren away. Are they allowed?
