After another defeat and a bad performance on the road we return to the King Power. Its vital we make this place a bit of a fortress considering how bad our away form is. Wes Morgan picked up a knock at Swansea but stayed on so he should be ok, other then that their are no injuries other then to Ben Hamer. So here is what I would play

Schmeichel

Simpson
Wasilewski
Morgan
Konchesky

King
Cambiasso
Drinkwater

Vardy
Mahrez

Ulloa

Subs- Smith, Moore, Hammond, James, Knockaert, Nugent, Wood

Bringing on Cambiasso when we are chasing the game is the wrong thing to do imo, needs to be on from the start, if he cant play for 90 mins he needs to be on to get us a winning position that we can defend.

Leaving out Moore for Wasyl proud? are you asking for us to concede penalties!

Can't drop Moore for Saturdays performance imo, he did little wrong, you may look at their first goal, but it was pretty obvious he was told to close down and harrass Bony every time he got the ball, bad management imo, as Hammond should have been doing that role seeming how deep bony was coming to pickup the ball.

Well it´s all going pear shaped atm ain´t it.

Drinkwater has been below par this season so I think he´d needs ´resting´. I´d go with Cambiasso from the off too tbh but I´d have De Laet on the bench instead of wood. If we are/do go 1 up & there´s not much time left I´d bring De Laet on & take Vardy off putting 5 at the back (5-4-1) leaving Ulloa up top alone.
We need to start winning & keep away from the drop zone.

"FFS CITY, COME ON"

On a positive note, lads...

We are only 2 points off 10th! All is not lost...

A win against WBA and we go above 'em!

I think Moore just needs pulling out the Fire for a week. He has done very well so far but as a unit were conceding far too many. Wasilewski deserves a chance and his experience could help

I think we have to be careful we don't go too negative for this match. This is one we have to win, so we have to field a side capable of scoring goals.

It's not going to be easy, but the team has to get the crowd buzzing and they'll only do that by being positive and keep going forward. If we go in front and then get sucked into trying to defend a lead by pulling 10 players behind the ball, then that will give WBA the upper hand and invite more pressure on a team that has been leaking goals. One mistake then and it could be game over for us. I think the only way my blood pressure can cope with the prospect of a Leicester team trying to defend a one goal lead is if we score in the 93rd minute!

As for a starting eleven, De Laet looks a bit short on confidence (some might say 'ability'!) at the moment, and he has started to jog back after getting beaten rather than sprinting, so needs a break and a kick up the backside. Moore won't be up against anyone with Bony's ability so can keep his place. Konchesky has not been too bad overall this season. Mahrez had no end product on Sunday and lost the ball too often, but can be a match winner as well, but Schlupp probably provides better cover for Konchesky and won't be tempted to swap flanks with Vardy. I think we need a bit more composure at the top end of the pitch and the chance of a goal from a midfielder, so I'd give Andy King an outing.

I would start with:
Schmeichel
Simpson Morgan Moore Konchesky
Cambiasso
Vardy King Drinkwater Schlupp
Ulloa

-------------------------Schmeichel------------------------

De Laet-----------Wasilewski-------------Morgan------------Konchesky

------------------------Cambiasso----------------------------

Mahrez-----------------Drinkwater---------------------Schlupp

--------------Vardy-------------------Ulloa

Schmeichel
De Laet -- Moore -- Morgan -- Konchesky
--------------Cambiasso--------------------
--- Drinkwater ------------ Schlupp
----------------- King----------------------
-------------- Vardy -- Ulloa--------------

Or we could play 532 like we started last season. Schlupp and De Laet wing backs with Wasyl coming in at centre half. Cambiasso, King and Drinkwater in the middle with Ulloa and Vardy up front

Defo worth considering especially on the road

Kasper

Simpson Morgan Moore Konch

Hammond Cambiasso

Mahrez Knockaert Schlupp

Vardy

I feel that one of our biggest strengths is pace and so we need to use it up top more

I know this wont be the formation or players though, just an idea

As I posted on another thread:

Kasper
Konch
Morgan
Moore
De Laet/Simpson
Mahrez
Cambiasso
Drinky
James/Hammond
Vardy
Ulloa

Basically, the same as Proud but sticking with the old defence.

Just to add, there's a lot of negativity around at the moment, but let's remember we've had some difficult fixtures and have currently played more away games than home, where we are still undefeated. It's possible (but unlikely) that a result here could put us back in the top half.

You lads are doing well so far IMO. Just going through a little wobble but overall you've got a point per game and that nearly always keeps you up.

It's more the performances of late swords that are the concern. Shipping goals too easily too. Pearson doesn't seem to know his best side and is chopping and changing too much for my liking.
A big big game v west brom on Saturday for us

Understandable Miami. Football is funny in that you could be sat say 10th and be miserable because you've lost three on the spin, yet be in 14th place and be happy because you've just won 3. Logically the team in 10th should be happier compared to the same team in a parallel universe in 14th but that's not the case.

A win this weekend boys and you is midtable. That ain't bad for an outfit just promoted from the Championship.

Best of luck Foxes :)

Defiantly too early for doom and gloom, WHU wont finish that high, Villa (although i dont want them to) will start scoring goals and winning games and Southampton will drop off too against some of the other top teams.

Beat your fellow relegation candidates: that's the name of the game.

QPR; Burnley; Villa; Sunderland; Stoke; Newcastle; Palace; West Brom; Newcastle and us.

30pts with a home win against them all. Scrape 9 draws elsewhere, or six draws and a win against Utd, and you are safe: easy
