Just a word of caution before we get too carried away. Yes we have had some decent results but look at the table! We are currently 10th with 11 points from 9 ganes - that's amost a quarter of the season gone! We are ony 3 points above Sunderland in 18th place; even Newcastle are only 1 point behind us. We must start turning draws into wins and stop shipping late goals or we could finish up paying dearly.

We've just drawn away against Liverpool and arsenal two great points that a lot of our rivals will only dream of!

Leaving aside the excessive pessimism... back to school for you.

There's no balance is there hahaha between the naysayers & the ne'er do well doom mongers & the eternal bewildered optimists who's belief in skeptisism borders on pessimism.. Call it a draw.

Using your maths, we will be 12 points ahead of 18th by the time the season ends. I'll take it.

And 3 points from Arsenal in 5th

If we stay up, Brilliant and I am sure we WILL.

BUT if we do go down it wont make any difference to me and most of us on here.

We will support City what ever league we happen to be in.

:-)

If someone said two weeks ago that we take a point in away trips to Arsenal & Liverpool then I think most would've thought you a little nuts and would snap your hand off.

You ever noticed the skies getting darker recently and the optimism of your dreams fading into nothing?..
and now their even culling the badgers...oh wont somebody think about the children?

Agreed.

I predicted at the end of last season that if we made a couple of decent signings we should achieve 50pts this season. We've made better signings than I expected and based on what I've seen, I still feel 50pts is readily achievable.

We now have a pundit-wide prediction that we'll be comfortable.
