Most of yesterday's noise seemed to comer from the Itchen North. I sit in The Chapel btw. I'm bringing my knitting next week.
I just posted this on the DE site in response to a similar post: "I am getting a bit ratty at the constant criticism of the crowd, not everyone goes to the game to behave like a demented lunatic, we have a large diversity in how we support the Saints and don't need lectures on how we should behave. The second half of yesterdays game was very intense and it took a lot of concentration and a lot of trepidation, but if you watched Match choice you will have heard and seen a great deal of support, loud and clear, enough for the commentators to comment about it "Great support" the man said, so take your fingers out of your ears and stop making stupid remarks about our crowd, they may not be Ultras but they are very loyal".
As I said before, can't believe you are really concentrating if you sing all the time. As Saintdon13 said, you need to concentrate if the game is intense. Pleased that some sing, but you can't follow the game ball by ball if you do your own thing.
