Long and Mayuka at the same time? In that case I hope the ground staff at the Britannia will get enough time before kick-off to install the heavy duty goal netting.
Thank goodness. Been offline since yesterday morning...PC World said not my computer, so had to fiddle with my modem. Now you are all here and I have pages to catch up on. Great to get a result yesterday. Nice goal from Mane...what reflexes. Happy days.
Router, probably. But anyway, welcome back. Little tip for next time. If you have a smartphone that connects to the internet, a little router test is to stop the phone connecting to the internet through its own service, and make it connect through wi-fi. [Easily done - a chimp could do it under instruction]. If the smartphone can't connect, it's the router. Rarely is a PC going to cause a problem, unless the user has fiddled. Standard reaction. Turn router off for 10-30 seconds [the time interval is necessary] and then back on. Wait 2 minutes. Done. Thought you'd gone to the game. Never in doubt..!
Hi TSS, is the full game available yet? Can't remember the website. And by the way, the Reeves's sacred river series was really good. Enjoyed the Yangtze episode most of all.
I am not convinced the team will have all those changes above. It seems lacking in goals and creativity and the last thing we want is for it to go 120 minutes
I doubt there will be many changes...Ron will be taking this seriously. How good would it be to have the earliest trophy in the display cabinet (if they know where the key is ).
TSS: If you have a smartphone If I have a smart phone!?! I have a singularly stupid phone as that is all I need.
Agreed, also it's way too many changes for me. I hope we make just 1-3 changes as I think with this team we have got a great chance of a good cup run and would be a shame to waste that. Win this and we're one game from a 2-legged semi. Near enough full strength for me, no point thinking about Hull, one game at a time
Have to mention West Ham...we are quick to criticise them, so should praise them for what they've achieved. Just 3 points behind us and have recently beaten City (thank you kindly) and Spurs. Amazing how things turn round.
I agree, we should actually be treating Wednesday's game as the second part of a 2-leg game, with us going in with a narrow lead to defend and improve upon. As near the same team as yesterday as possible I'd say, although I'd like to see Gardos come in and Toby going in behind Vic and Morgan, with Davis and Cork missing out.
Should give us hope against city then (a game everyone is writing us off for in the November thread). Or do we not have the advantage of them having a midweek game just before ?
My mistake. They have an important home game against Bayern just before. Not the same as a Russia trip but I imagine they will be playing their full side
Checked late into last night and it wasn't there. Guess it wasn't interesting enough. I'll have another look [Pause]. Nope, either wasn't covered by them or they haven't put it up yet. Bookmark the site: http://www.footballorgin.com/ Yep, Simon Reeve's series was excellent. He just has that essential sense of wonder and wisdom that makes him a superb presenter of globe trotting series. Occasionally I go back and watch one or two episodes of his earlier stuff [Equator, Indian Ocean, etc...]. He's exactly the same. Engaging, knowledgable, yet curious to find out more.
