Academy boss Neil Redfearn would be promoted to the head coach’s job with immediate effect.

Refearn has become Leeds’ third permanent boss this season.

Wow, wasn't quite expecting that.

How does everybody feel about Redfearn being given it full time? From Cellino's point of view I can understand the decision. He cant be much worse, so what the hell! I think it could be quite a smart move. Why would you try your hand at another unknown entity, at least Redfearn knows the club. Hopefully, Cellino will realise that IF it doesnt work out with Redders in charge, he can then just 'demote' him back down again and try someone else, rather than sacking him (as long as Redders would be ok with that!)

I just don't get it .. we need to replace Norris, Tonge, Austin, Murphy alone from midfield and get in a couple of experienced enforcers to help the kids .. Redders will fall on his arse if Cook, Mowatt and Adryan are all starting together .. I felt Milanic would have been good for Leeds, Cellino needs to fcuking grow up and be patient or get thrown into an Italian prison .. oh, and fcuking drop that useless disruptor Pearce, sell the twat

Well obviously.... But 3 managers/ coaches before christmas, is your owner as crazy as they say?

Dear God yes he is.

Like Lowro said after Hockaday got sacked, he should get off his perch come down and do the job himself instead of getting rid of managers after such little time

Not so bad thanks Elland.

WTF is going on though ? I mean we knew Cellino was trigger happy but this is crazy.

I would say that we're in danger of becoming a club that no decent manager will want to come to but I think that happened a while ago.

Chris Hughton would take the job, he might last about 20 minutes under your owner!!! <whistle>

I hope nobody is under the impression that Redfearn is going to turn this around

I agree Grogger, he's good at the job he's done at youth level and although he had a great run of results the last time he was caretaker, he didn't have any pressure on him because he knew he was only standing in until a permanent coach came in. I think if he has been made permanent. it'll be a whole new ball game. I hope for himself and for us that it works out.

Celino does what he thinks we want,he hears booing he sacks the manager. If you want Celino to give Redfearn a fair chance then we have to first.

I totally agree with you there shako! Heard fans saying before how he should be given reassurances that if he fails then he should be guaranteed his job back as academy boss!! What planet are these fans on?? I want Neil to do well but I can't see it and sadly it means if he fails we'll lose him from the club completely!

Chesh, long before Cellino was owner, there were many many times the fans booed after dismal results, half time and fulltime, but the owner didn't sack them. Cellino is the problem IMO, but he's here and there's nothing we can do about it. But if you believe he does what he thinks the fans want, we are in trouble.

Cheers Grogger, I don't make many sensible comments on here. Has it been confirmed that he is permanent?
