well it aint the first time he has scored that goal is it .

Still , it was a clever goal .

I have never seen a goal like that like ... I remember harry kewell and ronaldo doing crosses like it ... to generate power and accuracy like that from so far out is amazing...who did he do it for last time?

Was a bit of a fluke to be honest. Also the keeper should have saved it.

Pizzagate <laugh>

"This slice of pizza came flying over my head and hit Fergie straight in the mush. The slap echoed down the tunnel and everything stopped - the fighting, the yelling, everything. All eyes turned and all mouths gawped to see this pizza slip off that famous puce face and roll down his nice black suit.
"I thought Ferguson was going to explode but then he stormed off into the dressing room cursing and grunting, brushing the crumbs and stains off his collar. We all went back into the dressing room and fell about laughing. All I can say is that the culprit wasn't English or French, so that should narrow it down."

Lamela is so ****ing left footed, he would rather try something like that rather than using his right foot. <laugh>

He is a special talent and when he shows his real level, he won't be at Spurs for long.

Do you think they would recoup the £30m they spent on him though ?

They could get double that, IF he shows his talent on a consistent basis and that's a big IF at the moment. This guy in terms of just pure talent is the real deal. But he has struggled like **** with the physical side of the English game. If he gets better physically than he should go on to become one of the best in the league, and then after that, the big sides will come calling.

Agreed.

Alluded to this on another thread. 'IF' he keeps progressing, Barca or Madrid will come knocking/tapping up.

Alex Song has been f**ing brilliant today so far.

For all the abuse he got at Arsenal(most of which wasn't his fault) he is a better player than Flamini. He's quicker, stronger, bigger and just as good on the ball.

I would take him back. Think he would be an improvement on what we have in that position.

Really think we should be looking to sign one of the Bender brothers or Carvalho for that position. It's such a weak point in our play, I honestly think we'd flourish if we would only address it.

Instead of getting turned around and carved open, so that all of our players end up back in our own half, a decent DM would not only offer protection against that, but being able to break up play and win the ball back would enable our attacking players to play further forward more effectively. We'd be able to counter a lot quicker, rather than having to start from our GK / back four all of the time.
