How do we score so many own goals? 3 in one game, against Southampton ffs..... What's the must own goals you can remember in one game?
But the premier league has it down as 3. http://th.premierleague.com/th-th/clubs/profile.html/southampton
Richard Dunne has five times as many own goals as Jozy Altidore has PL goals to his name. I'm not sure who that looks worse for.
Didn't Michael Proctor score 2 own goals against Charlton, whilst somebody else scored another? I might be wrong though!
On the 1st of February 2003, led by Howard Wilkinson, we we're beaten 3-1 at home to Charlton where we Scored all 4 of the games goals.
The 3 at home to Charlton came in the space of eleven minutes. Must be a records galore, most in a Premier league match, most in a home game , record time to do it, shortest time for one player to score two ........
Now I think you're being harsh. Howard was just there to mentor Steve Cotterill, the greatest and most talanted up and coming manager of all time.
So i thought mate, wonder why now, all of a sudden they have PVA down for an own goal.Have i missed something, has something changed? Vergini (12 og) Pellè (18) Cork (37) Bridcutt (63 og) Pellè (69) Tadic (78) Wanyama (79) van Aanholt (86 og
That Bridcutt one's a bit harsh, who was it that had the shot that Tadic lad? He's been robbed there, shot was on target and going in, Bridcutt didn't help it over the line, he just fumbled a clearance.
Was you a bit tipsy mate? That fourth goal, sure he stabbed it towards goal and Bridcutt fumbled over it on the line, got a bit stuck under his feet and the ball went in. In my opinion, it shouldn't have been classed as an OG, as it was going in, Bridcutt tried to stop it but couldn't.
I was at the SOL for that match Quentin; if I remember right, we lost 3-1 and we scored all four goals. You're right, Michael proctor did score two but I can't remember who the other one was.
